Postmoderns – The interesting thing about postmodernists is their ability to live comfortably with contradictions. Why? Because there are no troubling absolutes to be reckoned with. Take the case of Terry – the woman in Florida who is brain damaged. The courts have pulled her feeding tube. Postmodern thinking on this is that there is no absolutes in this case. “Rights” are more important than God’s word on sanctity of life. Think about it. In order to protect “American Rights” a woman will be allowed to starve to death. I watched the parents grieve over the apparent slow death of their daughter. When asked, the husband’s lawyer said, “My client is also grieving but standing up for his wife’s rights. This kind of postmodern thinking gives free reign to every form of evil.
