We have a building being torn down here in Yankton – Morgan’s Manufacturing. The building was vacant for awhile. It caused me to think of the dirt that is now exposed. The bulldozers are leveling the ground for future use. But my mind went back to the dirt. I don’t know how long the building has been there but it has to have been several decades. All that time the dirt under that building grew nothing. But now since the ground is exposed it will probally grow plants. My point is this: Do you have something that has been erected in your life that sits upon the ground of your heart? Do you have portions of your life that nothing can grow because of a preexisting structure? That preexisting structure could be religion, tradition or just about anything. God wants to plant his word in your life. Is your heart ready to grow in his love?
