  • We just got back last night from vacation – Wisconsin Dells.  It was great.

Michelle – I’d love to go to your site and see all the new pictures but every time I do I get a message, “You’ve entered the Twilight Zone” – It then boots me off your site.

  • Mississippi

A group of children’s workers went to Mississippi and did a Kid’s Krusade.  It was an experience.  I enjoyed it.  The area around Biloxi still has a lot of rebuilding to do.  The most memorable thing was all of us handing out flyers.  We went into businesses; asked the managers and handed out flyers and animal balloons.  The teens that went with us were so excited about that.  The drive home was tough.  24 hours in hot hot heat.  We couldn’t use the air conditioner because if we did the van would over heat.  (I am not complaining one bit about the 100 degree temperatures we’re having right now.  It’s much better than the humidity in the South.)

  • We had a great time yesterday.  Nebraska friends of ours put on a big – what they call – partay. It was on a farm.   It was so funny.  One of the guys took a bucket of water balloons to the top of a grain storage and threw the balloons at people. -4 wheelers or people riding bikes.  Most of the people were under a tree on the front lawn so they were a target for the water balloon launcher.  – of course when it got dark all the fire works came out.  There were a lot this year.

  • 1st Love

I’ve been thinking about when I was 1st saved.  It was a wonderful time of learning about God for the first time.  We need to experience that all the time because God is so big.  We can never learn too much about him or get the the far corners of our experience with him.  He can never be boring because there is still much to learn.  I’m pressing out today to learn more about the God-Jesus I fell in love with over 20 years ago.
