Mississippi
A group of children’s workers went to Mississippi and did a Kid’s Krusade. It was an experience. I enjoyed it. The area around Biloxi still has a lot of rebuilding to do. The most memorable thing was all of us handing out flyers. We went into businesses; asked the managers and handed out flyers and animal balloons. The teens that went with us were so excited about that. The drive home was tough. 24 hours in hot hot heat. We couldn’t use the air conditioner because if we did the van would over heat. (I am not complaining one bit about the 100 degree temperatures we’re having right now. It’s much better than the humidity in the South.)

Bill Wilson is teaching at our church Sun evening. He’s from New York, and regularly ministers to 20,000 kids and teens every week. He’s been shot, stabbed, and recently shot in the mouth for witnessing. I get nervous when we have 10 kids in the nursery. Good to hear of the trip. Everyone should have to do a missions trip. It will open your eyes and change your life.
That’s awesome that you got to do that. God bless!
Wow.. I’d love to do that! Great! I am so happy you were able to go and help there!
Yes! We have been singing Jesus is my Superhero. I never even knew that song existed. The kids love that song!
Hi! It’s been a while since I’ve updated! There are new pics of the kids up on my site. They’ve gotten so big!
He ended up not being able to speak. He was speaking @ Eagles Nest in Omaha, and had to fly back to NY so he could fly to South Africa Monday morning. He’ll reschedule. It’s okay; even tho I know Pastor wants us to stretch and receive impartations from others, I would rather have my pastor over anyone. We’re his sheep and he’s our shepherd.
