That’s very philanthropic of you! I’ve considered adopting myself. I’m sometimes a bit conflicted about whether I would rather have my own child, which my instincts dictate, or whether I would rather adopt one of the millions of children out there who desperately need a home instead of feeding the population crisis, which my logic dictates. If I adopt, I think I’d adopt a child that is a little older, like between five and ten years old, and perhaps feels like they’ve been left behind because people generally adopt infants. I thought it would be great to get them out of that atmosphere and into adventures exploring the world, encouraging personal growth.
i am VERY against abortion.
if thats what you mean by your comment. I hope i don’t offend anyone. Its just that abortion is wrong in almost any case. The only way that abortion should be allowed is if the mother is going to die from it, or if the child is going to die anyways. even if a child is mentally damaged, God still has a purpose for it. He has plans for it, and he loves it. Just because someone isn’t “all there” does not mean that they should be unallowed life.
i also think that rape victims should not be allowed to abort the child. IS IT THE CHILDS FAULT? no, its the sick sonofab*tch who raped her. Punish him, not the child. And if you can’t stand the sight or thought of the child, as a reminder of the man who raped her, put it up for adoption, let it go to people who will love it.
I personally won’t have children, because i am scared to go through childbirth. Also, i believe, as does jaredbernard1, that there are too many children in this world with noone there for them, minus the government officials of whom they are their wards, that to bring more children into this world without taking care of those who are already here is cruel. I will adopt. I’m not sure though, it all depends on wether or not i like kids when im older. im only 16 for pitys sake!
