Yes, it’s kinda scary. . . . I don’t think our culture has lived long enough to discover the complicating medical conditions all these piercings might potentially cause. Thankfully. . . and I don’t know why I’ve been so fortunate . . . our daughter has only the very common one set of ear piercings.
Seems to me that we have some young ladies wanting to get noticed/attention…appearance-wise…especially by men. I still remember being one of them…I was extremely afraid of approaching good looking men and compensated by trying to outdo the next girl in skirt length or lack of. That’s how I caught the attention of my first love…and he was a true womanizer. After making mistakes, I realized that I needed be a good friend to all types of men…not just by outer appearances. That’s how I came upon, and chose, my true soul mate. This seems to develop the deeper and more cordial relationships which carries through into a healthy everlasting marriage.
