“I keep working toward that day when I will finally be all that Christ Jesus saved me for and wants me to be…”
If Jesus had in mind what He wanted the Apostle Paul to be then, since He does not play favorites – and – HAS saved you, He saved you for a reason and wants you to fulfill your destiny.
[James 1: 2f]:
“Count it all joy when you encounter tests or trials of any sort, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.
“And let patience have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.”
For it is through a combination of FAITH, LOVE and PATIENCE that we receive the promises of God through Jesus in this life. [see: Hebrews 6:12].
Trials will always come to test your faith in God’s promises (like in gaining favor with other people – [Prov 3:3,4]) and if you wait (reverence – praise) on God to give you favor with other people, you will develop patience.
Then, when patience has her perfect work or result, you will not be in want of anything (the favor) for which you were believing God.
A prayer to ponder:
“Heavenly Father, I ask you in the name of Jesus Christ,

MESSAGE FROM GOD,
your heavenly Father:
“I made you for a purpose.”
[Philippians 3: 8- 14]:
“I keep working toward that day when I will finally be
all that Christ Jesus saved me for and wants me to be…”
If Jesus had in mind what He wanted the Apostle Paul to be
then, since He does not play favorites – and – HAS saved you,
He saved you for a reason and wants you to fulfill your destiny.
[James 1: 2f]:
“Count it all joy when you encounter tests or trials of any sort,
knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.
“And let patience have its perfect result,
so that you may be perfect and complete,
lacking in nothing.”
For it is through a combination of FAITH, LOVE and PATIENCE
that we receive the promises of God through Jesus in this life.
[see: Hebrews 6:12].
Trials will always come to test your faith in God’s promises
(like in gaining favor with other people – [Prov 3:3,4])
and if you wait (reverence – praise) on God to give you
favor with other people, you will develop patience.
Then, when patience has her perfect work or result,
you will not be in want of anything (the favor)
for which you were believing God.
A prayer to ponder:
“Heavenly Father, I ask you in the name of Jesus Christ,
to give me the grace:
to count the world as nothing,
to set my mind firmly on you,
to be content to be alone,
to depend on your comfort,
to suffer adversity patiently,
to be joyful for troubles,
to walk the narrow way that leads to life,
and to keep the final hour in mind.”
