We are Marshall
We went to the movie: We are Marshall. It was really good. It was about sports and inspiration in the worst of times. I came away with the idea that winning isn’t always everything; winning could be an interception of a different view. It’s all how you look at it. Sometimes winning is just to keep going when everything tells you to quit.
What keeps you going in tough times? (I’d like specific answers – not just “Jesus or God” – although that is a great answer.)

well in short. the fact that no matter how bad things get God has a plan. that i’ll be with him in the end. that he’s alwas there. and also my friends and family.
i see you like star trek. i’m not a HUGE fan but i like it’s old school versions.

What keeps me going in tough times? My Mom… I can talk to her about everything. God, of course is a BIG help. Crying out to him every night… Reading the Bible – Just one verse can make a difference.
I also LOVE talking to my best friends. Telling each other our problems and praying for each other.

hmm thinking of the grace i have been given! the hard times ive been pulled out of… the hard times i havent but have come thru with more understanding of what Christ really looks like… ya thats it…..

What keeps me going in tough times? Faith and Hope. The knowledge that even when I make dumb mistakes, or when others make dumb mistakes that affect my life, God works all things together for good for those who love Him and follow Him. The fact that He has been with me through the toughest of times before keeps me going in the tough times I’ve yet to face. Whatever happens, I’m not alone.

Merry Christmas to you too!………..What keeps me going? Faith, and family and friends, I think we were all put on this earth to help each other .
I would say the faith that friends and family have in me, even when I have lost faith in myself. It truly takes another person’s perspective to make you realize that perhaps the situation is what you are making it out to be.
Of course, the knowledge of the fact that God has every situation in our lives in control even when it is out of control, helps as well. I remember back on certain times in my life with the situation seemed daunting, but with God’s help, I managed to get through it.
