Christmas
We had a wonderful Christmas Eve last night. I got a book from my Mom that I wanted: Sparkling Gems from the Greek by Rick Renner. Let God's peace serve as an Umpire for your mind and emotion! Col 3:15 I've heard people say, "If God is real then why all this turmoil." Those people obviously don't know the peace that passes all understanding. estrella_girl put on her site a song I love; When peace, like a river, attendeth my way. -It is well with my soul. It was written by a man who lost his family at sea. On the very spot he lost his family, he wrote this song. Are you at peace today? How do you get there? (It's 7 am in the morning and my children are not up yet - I'm shocked.)

Yankton
The 7 reasons why I like Yankton:
1. I don't have to wait long at stop lights, most of the time I'm 1st.
2. We have a river close by.
3. We don't have to lock the doors.
4. The kids are safe to go outside.
5. The people are friendly.
6. The schools are good.
7. There is not much crime.Tell me one unique thing about where you live.

Lights
We went driving around, looking at the Christmas lights. Kalli, our 2 year old, kept on saying, "Lights". There weren't as many lights this year as in years past. I wonder if it's because there hasn't been any snow. This is the first time I ever remember not having any recordable snow on the ground at all before Christmas.

We are Marshall
We went to the movie: We are Marshall. It was really good. It was about sports and inspiration in the worst of times. I came away with the idea that winning isn't always everything; winning could be an interception of a different view. It's all how you look at it. Sometimes winning is just to keep going when everything tells you to quit.
What keeps you going in tough times? (I'd like specific answers - not just "Jesus or God" - although that is a great answer.)

XANGA Travel
I went Xanga cruising yesterday - around the world. It was great. Here's what I learned: It gets really dark in South Africa around 4:00 in the afternoon. There are a lot of Japanese in Alaska. Speaking of Japan, they like to have a lot of cartoon figures in their xanga. I saw pictures of snow in different places of the world. It trully gave me a new appreciation of our world. I'm enjoying being Times "Person of the Year". (You probally heard but anyone putting video on the internet was Times "Person of the Year.")
What are your xanga experiences you've recieved from your xanga traveling?
Here is my bible devotion: Ezekiel
