Scientists have said the Artic has risen 2 degrees. Do you believe in Global Warming?
How many times do you look at yourself in the mirror? Do you like what you see?
One of my favorite historical figures is Tad Lincoln, President Abraham Lincoln’s son. Tad would many times run into his Dad’s meetings (several times during important war meetings) and ask his Dad a question. Abraham always stopped what he was doing and answered Tad. Tad was found many times asleep on the floor of President Lincoln’s office.
What is your favorite history figure?

ohhhh i look at myself too often and NO i dont like what i see…. (unless its my head of hair after i get out of the hot tub, then it is curly… it never curls otherwise… it’s straight as pin!)
I would like to say not much but it’s pretty constant. I try to eat well, exercise when I don’t want to, and wear sunscreen when others go to tanning salons weekly, so I take pride in knowing that what I see (and liking it) is a result of taking care of myself.
LOL… I was just saying that I see myself in the mirror a dozen times a day, and I thnk I look ok, then I see a picture of me and cringe! I think we can’t fool ourselves to a degree, but with photos, you aren’t prepared….
ryc- A 16 yr old who likes school? what do you feed her!
to answer your post: “a few times a day” the first question. “sometimes i do, most of the time, no” to the second question.
i know. i hope everyone keeps quiet too. i know about the bomb, also. people can’t seem to keep their mouths shut! haha. but i don’t know how curtis died. ryan chapell was the hardest death i had to watch on 24 (a close second would be Edgar), but everyone says that it was worse than that.
oops! sorry! i just realized i wrote to you from my running blog. this is EvryDayNew!
well…..ummmm…I look more now because Im seeing muscles that I didnt realize that were under there…hehehe….I keep looking at my changes as I lose my weight
thanks…and no i don’t like what I see….
I look a few times a day. You know just to make sure there is no food in my teeth or I don’t have a crazy curl. Meh, sometimes I like what I see…not usually. Lately I have been seeing serious dark cirlces under my eyes. Bleah.
I just posted on this not too long ago, I don’t LOOK at myself often enough, I think I like what I see. I’m working on it.
Night Randy. Ang
Probably too many times. I am trying not to do it so much. I don’t always like what I see – in fact most times I don’t – but I’m working on it.
haha, yab*
I probably look in the mirror about five or six times a day. When I do, I see my Dad. I always looked like him…but the older I get the more I look like him.
Why not like what I see?
I look at myself all the time when there a mirror in front of me. sometime
I like what I see and sometime I don’t but either I love myself..LOL
yes I believe global warming that is why the artic ices are melting or breaking apart.
I try NOT to look in the mirror – I have to in the morning to brush teeth, wash face adn do make-up for work….but other than that I desperately try to avoid looking in the mirror……and I think most of us don’t like what we see – LOL! Wasn’t is Michael Jackson who sang something about having a problem with the man in the mirror????? LOL
And there’s something in that global warming theory…….
yeah I definitely believe in global warming
Yes the global warming is real and I notice we don’ t have any winter for years .
About the historical figures , it is hard for me to answer because France has a very long history with plenty personages who marked their century . It is difficult to choose in starting from Vercingetorix 2000 years ago ( Gaulus chief ) .Here is a link: http://www.ancientsites.com/aw/Post/62427

I look in the mirror to put makeup on and fix my hair. Usually, I like the finished product unless I am having a bad hair day!
GLOBAL WARMING is what “we” call it. The earth is “ever” evolving. It’s a small part of God’s Will and I pray, Go God!!!!! It’s in His Time that all things come to fruition and then, shall pass away. All things shall pass away but He shall never pass away!!
Historically, my favorite “figure” is when I was a size “5″!!!!
ry:
ryq: i am a service coordinator (similar to a social worker) for individuals with developmental disabilities… most of those i work with are fairly high functioning and live independently in the community… the client i was working with yesterday learned she was not following a court order, however based on her disability, its questionable if she understands the court order… sometimes, it just breaks my heart. but its worth it in the end.
YAB= YES.
what an interesting fact i didn’t know!
have a great day!!!!
I think my favorite would be 1st grade teacher. I love kids.
I totally believe in Global Warming. About four or five years ago, I had to write a 20 page research paper on it. Believe me, when you have to something like that, you get very educated.
My favorite historical figure….hmmm…Bible wise is Paul, he was Jesus’ number ! persecutor then turned into his biggest fan. And then Christopher Colombus, he has so much history. I didn’t realize that until I went to the Domincian Republic, he’s like an icon there, his castle is there and everything. I didn’t get to see the castle, but I drove by it! :O) I always found him interesting when I studied history.
How many times I look in the mirror depends on how many weird faces I can make at the moment =-). In all honesty, the only time I really check myself out in the mirror is when I cut my hair, shave my face, or after I blow my nose. Do I like what I see? Not if there is a boogie hanging out my nose!
As for global warming…well…yes and know. I know all the pollutants we put up in the air can’t help the atmosphere, but a warm up of 2 degrees over how many years and relating that all to global warming, I just can’t see that. Course, I don’t really worry about it too much. The world we live in in temporary, as we Christians well know!
I look when I’m getting dressed. I want everything just so, the makeup, the hair, the clothes. Then I don’t look again. It’s taken me a long time, but yes, I like what I see. I exercise, eat well, take care of myself.
My favorite historical figure? That’s General George Smith Patton, Jr. Amazing man, a creature of extremes, a man of genius, uncompromising, tenacious, forhtright. So many fine qualities.
Global warming? I don’t know, and frankly I don’t think it matters because everything we would do to halt GW is something we SHOULD be doing anyway. Reduce polution and flourocarbon emissions, stop deforestation, reduce or eliminate fossil fuel burning.
oh thanks
but actually i’m still not good enough in writting things in english even though i’ve learnt it since i was a young girl
i can just use words with limited vocabularies to express my feelings
what a shame*_*”…
not really but i’m trying to improve it as much as i can
anyway, u too, have a nice day!
I definitely have to say that I think global warming is upon us… in our lifetimes… we will, and already have seen… some significant changes. Sad… but true. :’(
My favorite historical figure is the one I had 20 years ago. But, that’s history.
I do believe in Global warming… when 42 sq mile pieces of ice are breaking off glaciers, something is going on… as for the comment above about this world being temporary… while that is true, I don’t think God meant for us to be wasteful or destructive to the world he made for us… he made us stewards of this earth and we should do our best now that we know what is destroying it…
Hi Pastor Randy,
I’ve been praying for your “inspired” word not to be “only” heard, but understood, when you preach this Sunday. May the Holy Spirit be felt by all, through your words. God bless you
Who are you? ANd why did you post on my site?????
I’m an administrative assistant…
I look in the mirror whenever I go in a bathroom…..And I like what I see…..Except for my hair which is quite hideous…..I kinda believe in global warning but no one else in my family does….I don’t really care…I’m only 12….My favorite historical figure is….Pocahontas I guess….I’m liking dots today…
My favorite historical figure is Peter. He was bold and said what he needed to say and often ended up with his foot in his mouth. SO much like me!
thanks
Yeah….I’m kinda dragging it out…Like I’m dragging this comment out…lol…..And breaking it up into lots of chapters….The story I mean not the comment…..Comments don’t have chapters…..Atleast, I’ve never seen one with chapters….

LOL… I sure do see a similarity between your daughter and my granddaughter! and even the glasses and pose in the Kallicool one! How funny! How many children are you blessed with.. I saw bunches of them in the pictures!
Thanks!!!! I only like looking in the mirror when I’m in a joyful mood. When I’m crabby I look aweful. LOL. But I do it as many times as I’m in the bathroom!
RYC: Yes, it’s a thermometer stuck to his head. He had surgery yesterday on his eyes and we had to keep that on him to see if he had a fever, which indicates infection.
hey Randy
How did you get this cool filmstrip thingie on the right side of your xanga? I can’t figure out how to do it!
Thanks! Thanks for your comments.
8 children! How wonderful! I looked though your photos and they are all beautiful! What a blessing… but I do know what you mean about the ones that are supposedly out on their own! LOL… Have a wonderful night!
hi thanks for the comment. and yes, i believe in global warming. see ya!
Albert Einstein Judi
Glad you liked the tortillas. There are so many history heros. Hard to pick my favorite.
btw…who r u,,,?
Yay, I got someone hooked!
I believe Global Warming is unstoppable, we are merely speeding it up. I tend to look at meself whenever I am in the bathroom, I don’t know if I like what I see.
Do I believe in global warming??? Well – its gonna do whatever it does regardless of what I believe!
Sometimes I like what I see in the mirror sometimes I dont…just depends on the mood I am in….
My favorite historical figure? General Albert Sydney Johnston, commander of the armies of the Confederacy. He had to know when he started that the South would ultimately lose. It was before they realized that geniuses like Stonewall Jackson and Robert E. Lee could prolong the war, and nearly win. He had to know he was dying and losing the battle at Shiloh, and still he had the courage to face his terrible destiny. I admire the man, not the cause. I also love Abraham Lincoln, General James Longstreet, Soujourner Truth, Frederick Douglas, and General Winfield Scott Hancock. Dang! I must be some kind of Civil War nut!
