Knowlege without application eventually becomes boring and unfulfilling – every time.
Do you get bored? What do you do to motivate yourself?
My Pastor played a joke on my wife last April fools day. So my wife has been looking for an opportunity to get him back. She found it during the first commercial of 24 this past week. She called him and told him the police had just called our house saying that someone just ran into the church. (He’s a fan of 24 and she knows it.) She told him the police said the guy went by the name of JB. He was just about ready to leave for the church when she told him the intials stood for Jack Bauers. She got him good.

Yes I do get bored only cause I’m at home watching my kids 24/7.
To motivate my self would going shopping and buy little something.

Oh yes, I get bored. But then again I think I have ADD so I have to be always doing something. LOL.
Motivation? Motivation comes from within, if I don’t want to do it…I don’t. But if I do, then I do. I don’t need too much motivation…I just do what needs to be done.
I lack motiovation and I have a short attention span so I get bored easily!
Okay that cartoon is scary. lol
I put on music. It gets me moving and sets a mood for whatever I want to do, whether its just enjoying sitting or hustling around cleaning, if it’s something I can sing to all the better. lol

What on earth are you doing up at this ungrateful hour of the morning? Here I am about ready to finally go back to bed. I took the pictures of the chickens last January when a friend of mine and I went to Newport, WA. She was at a friend’s house breeding one of her dogs so I took my camera and went for a walk. I came across these Chickens in the snow and took a picture. Funny thing is, I am not a fan of chickens, but I think I took a pretty nice picture!

My motivation is to read God’s word every day and try to be the best Christian I can each day. Not always easy and definitely a challenge, but keeps me motivated to obey God and please Him.

St. Basil’s Cathedral
the most popular landmark is the Red Square or St. Basil’s Cathedral (located on the Red Square)… People who live here, however, find it rather boring, and find Arbat street or Tverskaya street more interesting!
NO to be hoenst its my belief in the christian god that gets me.. in the back of my mind there is still that belief bt its slowly sbsding it more trned out to be a hatered towards most people that served him but… now.. i dont think i can believe.. everything i love turns away.. everything i live for falls apart in my hands. no matterwhat fiath i am. it rediculous!

That was at a friends house…Me and my friends went to her house and dressed up…and I had a needle from the hospital so I used it and Bam…that’s what I got…and I was bored and the picture looked reallly cool….
honestly? i live far from most of the people i love, so staying busy is a good way to justify and ignore that distance. i find that a good way to get revved up is to put on a little techno and start doing crazy aerobic excersises – you’ll have more energy than you know what to do with.
p.s. not for the faint of heart – literally – i would hate to kill somebody with this information.

I get bored from time to time… motivation isn’t the problem for me though… it’s inspiration. Motiveation is just a side effect. Usually I write when I’m bored… poetry and such. Or sometimes I cartoon. More often a blast the headphones on my radio.. I live for music. But sometimes for my art I need inspiration… so a take a walk, or call up a friend. Workd every time. *two thumbs up*

I’m a senior and I think I’ll be going to the University of Indianapolis because its getting harder and harder to go to Russia under the title of “missionary” because they are sorta becoming more and more socialist thus more religious persecution. So I’m going to major in Russian and minor in music and hopefully get there somehow. God will work it out.
I have a lot of friends that go to Trinity.

Yeah, I get bored, usually when I am getting over being sick, and I start seeing things that need done around the house but don’t feel up to doing yet. So I veg on TV or computer ’till it’s time to go to bed.
If I get bored when I’m well, though, I try to get out of the house.
I think your wife’s jole was great, lol. My Pastor has a good sense of humor, hmmmmm it might be time to tell a story on my blog dealing with my Pastor.
knowledge without application can be boring and unfulfilling, i would say. if it’s knowledge you are truly passionate about and enjoy, the application will manifest itself, but if you have no interest in it, it won’t. or you may be surprised and apply something you learned from the class you hated the most, and realize you did get something out of it.
i’m still a student. can you tell?
where i am, disneyland is the main attraction. i live in anaheim. we also have angel stadium. and the ducks.

When I’m bored I do a bad thing…Start buying Ebay out. lol. That place is addicting though. Everything you “think” you need is on there. I really don’t buy much, but it’s very temping to sometimes.

I don’t have enough time to get bored… between the grown kids and the not grown one, someone always needs mom… today after I taught my morning catechism class, I had to go pick up the big son after his computer class, then came home and nursed the little guy a while, cleaned out a corner of my bedroom, did dishes, searched out a few things my daughter needed to come borrow started dinner, nursed sick lil guy some more and now here I am.. finally relaxing… nope no time to be bored!

When I get bored, I pretend to be Popeye. I laugh with a “uk-uk-uk-uk” and say, “I yam what I yam”. Of course I have to pretend that Elzie Segar is me Pappy and that I was born on… Oops, I don’t remember the 27th of what… Dang!
it’s been snowing all day here, and pretty much everything was cancelled this whole past week because of ice. It’s so beautiful outside.

Ohh, Jack is completely gonna stop it and as much as I don’t want to be I am still wary of Asad. =o) I also hope Curtis is alright, I liked him…..he never questioned Jack’s authority until now.
When I get bored I start playing computer games.
One’s that take me forever to beat.
That way they occupy more of my time. I can play on my computer easily 6 to 8 hours.
No I have a cat, 2 parakeets, 3 love birds, a dwarf holland lop house bun, 3 guinea pigs amd 2 hampsters
I do get bored. Plain and simple.
What motivates me in something I don’t like to do? The fact that if I get it done, then I don’t have to worry about doing it any more. It doesn’t take much motivation for me to do the stuff that I enjoy doing. In fact, after I get done with something I enjoy doing, I’m like “Aww” as I truly put my heart into it.
