Who would you like to see as the next President & why?

Sodzo – greek word for save.  It’s a word that means take action and do it fast.

Scenario: You see someone in your line of influence that is doing something that will harm themselves or others.  It may be little or it may be large.  Do you try to direct them in the “right” way or do you leave them alone?  How? Why?

  • thanks for stopping by! i hope you enjoyed the quotes! if you did, commenting & subscribing is appreciated =)

    have a great sunday <3

  • What? Love God isnt the hardest thing to love…actually loving God is the easiest!

  • i will always try to help them see the folly of their ways.  i don’t want my friends to hurt.

  • Lol no problem I hope you are having a super Happy day too!

  • Well Jack only shot Curtis in the neck.  It’s a pretty bad place to get shot and with the amount of blood I’d say a jugular vein was hit, but the upside is that he got immediate attention so it is very likely he will be okay.  Out of the season, I don’t know, but probably not the series.

As for who I want to see be the next president……..I don’t really know.  Senator Brownback from Kansas is running and he is someone I do happen to respect but I doubt the rest of the country will pay much attention to Kansas at this point.  I could be wrong though, Dwight D. Eisenhower made president and he was from Abilene…lol.

  • I like barrack obsama or hilary clinton. first time for black man to become president and hilary first woman and both their ideas. we sure can use different way to approach war so our troops can come home!

I would give my two cents but if they continue there nothing I can do unless call cop on them.

  • Excuse me, but who are you?

  • you such a good friend alway replying and respond back quickly I appreciate that!

  • About the Scenario…. It is actually currently happening to me and I am trying to decide what I should do. I’m praying.

  • idk, i like barrack obama, but i’m not sure if he’s ready yet.  give him a couple more years of experience and i think he would be great.  and i like hilary clinton also.

  • Oh…..ok haha yeah sorry…thanks you too!

  • yes, I would try to show the situation in a different light, but if they dont listen, then depending on the situation would get  another to help

  • I should have sited that, it’s from Durante Degli(Dante)Alighieri’s “The Divine Comedy — Inferno” at the begining of Canton III, the inscription on the gates of Hell.

Just incase you thought I wrote that, I figured I should make sure I wasn’t taking credit for a work of litterary genius somthing writen in c.1310

  •  H I L I A R Y    C L I N T O N!!!!!!!???????  I can’t believe it!!!  Hiliary Clinton!!!  Has ANYONE been to New York or knows what she has done for New York?   NOTHING!!!  Except collect a handsome salary.  So what if she is a woman!   Her feminity has always been questionable and she sold her soul to ride on the coattails of her husband, in a loveless marriage and all for the sake of prestige.  She has been connected to every possible criminal activity her law office could get into and, by the way, is the only person in the whole world that made a killing, 1000% in the Futures Market.

  • Thanks for coming by my site a few days ago. This is the first day I have had computer access so I was unable to check back with you. Hope you have a good week!

  • I don’t know who I would like at this point, but i can tell you I am not particularly drawn to anyone who has thrown their hat in yet… We need someone strong… and with no personal agenda… but is there even anyone like that?

As for your scenario… I always try to step in and at the least offer an different viewpoint on their situation… sometimes people are just so close to a problem they can’t see all their options…

  • I don’t know why I typed “somthing” between “genius” and “writen”…

  • Hope you had a wonderful weekend!

  • I like to step in…..and direct people on the right course….however….I have been bitten in the ass by it many times…and I never learn…LOL

  • I dunno… A lot can happen between now and 2008… We’ll see!

  • Well, I’m not entirely sure – and since I am a South African I don’t really have all the “info”……….I would have thought that maybe Hillary Clinton would have been a nice choice – but after reading the post above I am not so sure??????

    Oh well…..have a super day!

  • Well I spent a good part of the weekend reading up on Hillary Clinton and Obama Barack… and I wish that the two of them would run together! There are things that I like about the both of them. However, based on what my individual beliefs are… I am leaning a little bit more towards Obama at this point. For alot of people out there though… I could see something as superficial as “Obama sounds like Osama” weighing in on it. Oh… and Obama’s middle name is Hussein. I guess that doesn’t help either… ha ha.

  • I just happen to be reading it…

  • Several years ago on a local New York radio station I heard a Rabbi being interviewed.  He has some clout in that region and made sage remarks about voting a Liberal in.  He’d spoken simply and to the very people who still retained purity in their souls.  WOW!!  He got my attention!  He said that ANYONE who considered a LIBERAL for a position in government was AGAINST God!  Just to reiterate just a few topics  at the time:  they are “for” abortion…and at any stage of the pregnancy.  They are “for” same sex marriage.   They are for pornography.  They are “for” taking God out of America.  They are “for” giving every alien, foreigner and miscreant the right to vote.

He reminded his listening audience upon what precepts this country was founded:  GOD!  (That accounts for the USA’s prosperity.)  He also spoke to his listening CHRISTIAN audience as well.  He said, (and he was correct) any Christian FOR God is called His Faithful…..anyone AGAINST Him is part of the body of the Anti-Christ.

Disect that simple logic and see it from all facets and you can come to only ONE conclusion.  HE WAS RIGHT!!!!!

They epitomize the Scripture, “Woe to you who make good, evil and evil, good.”  It’s happening, right under our noses, and NO one seems to recognize it!!!  Now, that is scary!!!

  • Senario: A fagile balance…allowing natural consequences to teach or guiding them away from danger….allow a child to play with fire or not.  Hmmmm…I read somewhere that a child with ADD type symptoms require more natural consequnces because they don’t seem to learn as well using other methods.  My older child has always portrayed some signs of ADD…confirmed by two of her teachers.  Parents tend to nag children with ADD issues more because their minds wander into never never land for hours if you let them.  But, any child’s growth will be hindered by the nagging.  So, I try to use the “mommy’s job is to keep you safe” as much as possible.  Mommy’s job is to learn from God, the doctors, nutritionists, police, the law, news, science, etc…to keep you safe?  I think this principle can be applied to most children.  It’s truly about how paranoid the parent is about the safety issue involved.  I’ve noticed that I have one of those “paranoid” issues with calcium for my children and how it affects their bones….my daughter just doesn’t eat/drink as much as recommended by the FDA.  Osteoporosis runs in our family.

  • “RYC:”  “Regarding your comment:”  Was that your question?

  • 2 b honest i dont know who i owuld like to see as a next president. Truthflly you cannot believe anything anyone says whe nthey want to get elected. so honestly i would liek to see a truthful peaceful kind hearted person who can set this wrold to be more unified and peaceful! not sending troops to thier death opver in iraq!!! :)

  • Right.  TV does affect children with ADD.  I only wish TV is the issue with my daughter.  She was never really interested in TV.  Her passion is playing with someone non-stop all day long.  I’ve noticed a significant increase in her ADD symptoms when she plays with her friends all day.  Playing with mommy all day didn’t work either.  I’ve tried to give her some quiet time to play alone as well.  That just increased her daydreaming about never never land (which I don’t believe is completely a bad thing…that’s when God provides us with visions/passion/lifelong goals).  What seems to work well is having a balance of mommy playtime, friend playtime, outdoor playtime, and quiet time for her daydreaming.  We added homework to the mix last year.  God definitely had a big hand in teaching me all this.  Ever since my second daughter was born, I had forgotten about mommy playtime and outdoor playtime.  She would play with her friends all day long on a Saturday.  At the end of the day, she would stand in the middle of a room for an hour daydreaming.  Then, she would talk to her dolls while daydreaming.  She couldn’t hear us no matter what we tried.  We even tried to encourage her to lie down a rest without any luck.  In other words, we ended up nagging when we didn’t intend to.  I prayed about it and God answered.  I took her to our local park and taught her to shoot some baskets, introduced her to softball, and played some soccer with her.  The change was miraculous…we have our daughter back again.  God is great!

  • You are absolutely right.  I completely forgot about how God wired each of us so differently that it makes perfect sense to figure them out differently.  But, only God has the right answers.

I have a bad habit of seeing/putting things in molds.  How do we break free from getting back into the habit of seeing/putting things in molds?  Or, do we just have to live with it because we’re human?  Or, maybe I need a lot of prayers on this one.

  • Wow!  So, true about vision.  I’m a bit confused about transfered ownership of the vision back to God where it belongs.  I’ve tried to let my daughter run her life on Saturdays, but she ends up playing with her friends all day.  Is God’s vision at work I transfer ownership by allowing my daughter’s to act on her vision of playing with her friends all day…or do I just teach her about the God until she get’s her own direction when she becomes a teenager or some other age?

  • Yes.  I understand and have experienced the visions.  The issue with me is that I can’t maintain it all the time.  It seems that it takes something big in order to bow down in complete helplessness to him.
