  • Purity

What color eyes do you have?

Are you careful as to what you see with your eyes?

I love purity.  Why?  Because when my eye sight is pure I can have true creativity.  I can see clearly.  It’s not just an outward look, when I see people.  It’s seeing who they really are.  -the true beauty.

We had a special treat yesterday.  My Pastor is in Nigeria, Africa right now.  He called back to the church yesterday to give a report.  We heard him through the speaker systems.  After hitting the huge winds in Amsterdam and landing, (He said it was an bad experience.) they flew onto Nigeria.  A lot of the luggage stayed in Amersterdam.   Several of the South Dakotan Pastors had to buy a Nigerian suit for Sunday.  He gave a great report of good things happening in Nigeria

New Findings Show Parents’ Religious Attendance and Family Religious Activities Are Key Influences on Teens’ Sexual Activity & Contraception

Article in the Journal of Adolescent Health Reports Religious Denomination Not a Factor

WASHINGTON, DC—According to a new study reported in this month’s issue of the Journal of Adolescent Health, the more frequent a parent’s religious attendance and the more a family participates in religious activities, the more likely an adolescent delayed the timing of his/her first sexual experience.  However, if an adolescent did have sex, stronger religious beliefs and family religious activities were linked to reduced contraceptive use at first sex among males.

Two specific dimensions of religion – parental attendance and family activities – delayed the age of sexual onset on all groups examined except blacks.  More frequent parental religious attendance was an important factor for males and females, and whites and Hispanics. Male, female and white teens whose families engaged in religious activities on a daily basis delayed sexual initiation.  Interestingly, specific religious denomination was not linked to teens’ sexual activity.

  • I think maybe two year olds and puzzles should not be mixed! I heard about those winds on TV news. Glad they are safe.

    Have a good week.

  • I had to put my jeep in 4-w,drive to get out of the drive-way. to take my wife to work

  • Clearly, I have an undiluted “pea green” colored eyes.

Purity:  It is untainted by the world and all that is in it.  It is one of the reasons a child is so precious.  So   p r e c i o u s   that God expects us to return Home seeing the world through the eyes of a child……pure and innocent.  Now, that would be the “accomplishment” of a lifetime.  Personally, it is the ONLY way to get “fit and toned.”

  • What color eyes do I have? Hmmm…that’s a funny question, if I do say so. I have what is called Heterochromia, which means I have two different colored eyes. My left one is green, my right one is half brown, half green.

It’s funny what you see or choose not to see with your eyes. Sometimes there is something right there, yet we are choosing not to see it.

    Have a great day!

  • I have brown eyes. yes I am careful with what I’m seeing this eyes.

  • i always seem to have a hard time just knowing my eye color. i have to stop and think for a second. most times i am careful what my eyes see. yeah i did watch part of the colts game. though normally i don’t watch much football other than the super bowl.

  • Pastor Randy,

How did your Sermon go on Sunday?  I know you were looking forward to preaching the Word and prayed that all those present not only heard you, but actually “listened.”  God bless you

  • My eyes are changing color.  I’ll have to get back to you on that one.  They are getting lighter!

Seeing with your eyes and seeing with Gods eyes are totally different things!

  • Glad you got to hear from your Pastor. I am sure that truly was a special treat!

  • Startlingly blue.  I see everything and nothing at the same time.

  • ice, ice, ice, ice. the car that is my wifes would not get out for her so we got in my jeep and the way we went.

  • RYC: precisely.  Nail on head first try.

  • I have green eyes. And I’m usually careful not to look at morbid and bloody things. Because then whenever I’m alone, in the dark, I think of them, and it’s very disturbing & scary!

  • Sometimes they’re rose colored, but often they’re bloodshot.  In any case, I have my sight set on Him.

  • My eyes are a honeyish brown color… I love purity too. I try to be careful with what I see, it is so hard now-a-days to turn on the T.V. and not see OR hear something that isn’t pure.

  • thanks so much for subscribing! keep checking back for more quotes & don’t forget to comment!

    thanks much love<3

  • Randy,

I listened to your voice comment and found that you are a pastor. I work for a christian college as the church relations officer so I tend to be a counselor of sorts to many pastors. My prayer is that God will bless your ministry

  • my eyes are hazel – i strive for purity, but as a human i am constantly humbled by the impossibility of any form of purity without God’s vision becoming my own. i want to see people the way HE sees them – a daily choice, my friend. have a good one.

  • Reply to comment: No I havent heard of it…is it like a starship or a probe or a satellite?? I want to see pictures of it to!!

About your entry: I have kept myself pure all of my life and this guy and I are going to stay pure until marriage…if we get married but we are really good friends and are going to go out in August 2007…hopfully. Purity is a road to a better life with less headache! haha

ryc: yes, it was a good game. wow. what a comeback. not good for pat fans though. ah well, they’ve had their share of wins. time for the colts to have a change. i checked in iTunes and they only have a portion of the game. i’d get the whole thing it was so good. maybe they’ll play it on NFL replays.
oh, when we went on a short-term mission trip to ghana, right next to nigeria, we stopped in amsterdam too. AND my luggage didn’t arrive for a few days. i borrowed another gals clothes and then when we got to our minstry place, the people found out and made me THREE outfits. i still have them. it was really nice.

  • I just buy on ebay right now. I’m thinking about selling on there since I’m always home, but I haven’t made up my mind.

    My eyes are blue also.
