Branson
We made it to Branson. We got lost in Kansas City. We were talking and Harry took a wrong turn. The guys in the other car gave us directions via cell phone. We stopped at Lambers in Springfield for supper. That was great. It’s the “roll throwing place.” Hold your hand up & they’ll throw a dinner roll at you. When you 1st sit down they start bringing you food. -Fried okra, macaroni, blackeyed peas, etc. We made it to Westgate Resorts about 9:00 pm last night.

Sounds like a fun resturant… The kids would love any where they throw food. lol I guess some of us never grow up. lol

I’m not even sure I understand the riddle. So much for starting out Monday with a working brain.
Hope you enjoy the ol’ Hillbilly Havens. Dang!
Wow I’ve never see a place where you can throw your hands for food.
The riddle… makes me think of voting rights/free speech.
The answer to the riddle is: Wisdom (see Proverbs 2, Prov. 8, Prov. 9)
Oh I’ve been to Lambers! Our family goes there sometimes when we go to Branson. It is so fun but we always have to wait for like an hour or two for there to be room for all of us. I love that place.
And whenever we go there our mom makes us where matching clothes that are usually ugly so that if we get lost it will be easier to find us. And that is the worst thing about it. The End.
My Commentary On Silver Dollar City: Silver Dollar City is fun and it is exhausting to walk all over the place there and there are lots of hills and the shops are cool and the rides are fun and the shows are boring.
Wow…A roll throwing place…I love rolls, but I’m a horrible catch…Probably wouldn’t be my most favorite place to eat. LOL! =)
Have a good time and enjoy the change of scenery. I also pray that this will be a time of excellent education and that you re-affirm you are “walking” the best walk of your life. Spirituality is a wonderful, amazing and enlightening journey….Shalome!
Branson, that is a great place..hope you are having a good time.
Not too great at riddles myself….
I love Lamberts!!!! And the actual slogan is “Home of the throw’d rolls”, lol. If you go in there around your birthday you get a Hub-cap Cinnamon roll (the size of a hub-cap) for free and if you go there ON your birthday you get your entire meal for free. =o)
it says you are a children’s pastor… what is it like? must be easier than with grown ups. and what is your church? just nosy.
im a mormon, and would like to see what others think of this religion and why…
Hi, thanks for your post. I am German but I will be living in California from now on. I love the U.S. Have fun! Snowflake
I went to Branson last fall and had a good time with some friends at Silver Dollar City. Hope you are having some fun too. I have no idea about your little riddle.
Sounds like you are having a good trip. There is a Lambert’s in Gulf Shores, Alabama that some of my friends went to and they loved it and said the food was good too. If they threw me some fresh rolls and put some blackeye’d peas, fried okra and mac and cheese on the table when I sit down……why would I need to order? lol! Do they throw any cornbread???? There is a restaurant here called Logans Roadhouse which is a steakhouse. They have peanuts everywhere. When you walk in the lobby, there is a big pickle barrel full of roasted, salted peanuts and there are peanuts on every table. When you eat the peanuts, you throw the shells in the floor. The floor is covered with hulls. So it’s crunch, crunch all the way to your table. Bread is becoming a big calling card for some restaurants, but throwing it is a brainstorm. Enjoy yourself.
Wisdom is what came to my mind. Proverbs is one of my favorite books.
What an interesting restaurant. Sounds like a fun place to eat.
Sounds like fun. We used to go to a restaurant like that in PA. It was called Good N Plenty
Have a great time!
Hehe my husband has been to that restaurant, when he went to cbc. Cool.
Lambert’s is THE BEST! It’s so entertaining. We have one close to Gulf Shores here in Bama. We always eat there when we make a trip down there. Me and Jarrod talk about just riding down there just to eat sometimes. lol Heck it’s worth it.
I remember once we took some friends there who hadn’t ate there before…We told the waiter that it was they’re first time and when they were bring out the pots of food. They was fixin’ to put it on my friends plate and they pulled out like a stuffed toy possum. It was hilarious.
And their rolls are the best!
I’m hungry now.
