Cat becomes bus regular in Britain
LONDON (UPI) — Bus drivers in London have nicknamed a cat that rides the No. 331 bus several days a week Macavity after the classic T.S. Elliot poem.
The cat, which has a collar and gets on and off at the same stops every time, was first noticed by bus driver Bill Khunkhun, 49, The Daily Mail reported Monday.
“It is really odd, the first time I saw the cat jumping off the bus with a group of passengers. I hadn’t seen it get on which was a bit confusing,” he said. “The next day I pulled up on Churchill Road to let a couple of passengers on. As soon as I opened the doors the cat ran toward the bus, jumped on and ran under one of the seats, I don’t think any of the passengers noticed,” he added.
Macavity has been riding the bus since two or three times a week since January, The Daily Mail said.Calvin Coolidge (1872 – 1933)

I hope that bus driver isn’t allergic to cats! Bwuaahhaa!
That cat has a better sense of direction in his/her life than some people do!
i want to kno where it’s going. lol ang
Well, how else is a cat supposed to get to work? Sheesh.
We all should follow the cat’s example and pursue environmentalism.
Hmmm. I guess if you have 4 paws, you get a free pass!
Thats funny. I am glad they are letting the little feline go about its business.
that’s a great story…if a cat tried to get on the MARTA bus in Atlanta…well…I would hope they would treat it the same but I’m not sure…at least if they did someone on the bus would know where they were going! HAHAHA
What a smart cat.
catfish fillets.
RYC: Perhaps you need to hop on the bus with the cat to avoid the xanga road rage!
wow, that is amazing!! He really does provide doesn’t He? I try to remind myself that what I want and what He plans may not always be the same thing…I try to remember that in the long run it will work out but it’s easy to get impatient. Before spotting the house, we had found another that we knew would be perfect! We both prayed on it and prayed on it waiting for the guy to call us back and inform us of the price. It turned out to be way out of our price range and we were both really disappointed. If you had told me back 3 weeks ago that we would find something just as nice and in an even BETTER school and in our price range….I would have said nope, it’ll never happen!! But it DID happen and there was a reason the first didn’t work out. Also, the second one we were ready to take, it was somewhat less desirable, not anywhere near as nice and in a nice neighborhood but I was leery because everyone on the street also rents and there was a for sale sign in front of almost EVERY house!! The schools, upon further investigation, are very overcrowded and not able to handle much in the way of special needs kids (like my Beeber who needs the MOST from her school) We filled out the application, the woman was communicating thru email and seemed ready to give us the lease and we were ready to sign it because it seemed like the best option we would get….and she stopped communicating with us. I kept thinking oh man, if SHE decided we weren’t worthy then who WILL rent to us?! She was telling us her prior tenants had criminal records and stuck her big time so she wasn’t picky. argh this is getting long…anyway…there was a reason something happened to cause her to stall and now I know why. Remember the discussion of me going to church came up and I think it was you who said you would love to hear why I stopped going? Was it you? Oh wait…I don’t think it was, but Anyway….ONE of many reasons was because our already HUGE church decided it needed to expand and become even MORE impersonal….well, after announcing that, they held a sermon all about tithing and they were basically guilting everyone there about how MUCH they should be tithing and gave several examples so we wouldn’t mess up and undertithe. Then they proceeded to tell everyone that if we did NOT tithe what they were asking us to, we were saying to God that we did not TRUST Him to provide for us…and that just couldn’t be further from the truth. He has always provided for us no matter what! It just really got under my skin the way they were manipulating for their own agenda and making people question their faith if they didn’t do as told. How’s THAT for a novel of a comment?! lol
There was so much more though…we HAVE told the pastor and he doesn’t seem to care. Like, for example, when we had our last child. He was in the NICU and came VERY close to death several times. They always go to the hospital to pray with their sick members so they came and prayed with us over his little bed. Then after he got home, they held a ceremony for all the new babies in the congregation…and when it came time to say his name,,,they introduced him and didn’t even mention his daddy/ my husband. It looked like I was just some woman with a kid out of wedlock and my husband is the proudest daddy! They have been praying with us in the hospital every day for him and they can’t remember that he has a daddy!? That was one sign the church was a little too big and very impersonal. That was hubby’s LAST straw! He never went back.
Cute story about the cat. I do think Don Imus can be forgiven and fired. I think sometimes God has us forgive people, but to no longer have relationships with them. (For instance in the case of incest.) Take care & God bless!
interesting facts! And that CAT! LOL
Thank you Randy for those words of encouragement. I know the Lord is telling me to forgive, but it’s so hard for me to forgive when this betrayal is a continuous thing. I’m hoping that my attending church more frequently will guide me through. Take care.
cat story…very interesting indeed
Fun facts! =)
Cats don’t have to pay bus fare? Sheesh!
I have three furry little boys, Jimollie, Dewey Doolie and Furfull Whodeeny. And they sing, “all you need is love, love, love”. And that’s what they get from us. Smart little boys they are.

Hi Randy,
I love to laugh as well. It just feels good. How grateful I am that God gave us the capacity to find humor in everyday living.
Hope everything is well with you. Weekend is coming.
I had a glorious Easter weekend. Today is my 22 y/o’s birthday.
Take care,
Christy
very cool about the cat
Hey that president was born, and then 106 years later, and a day earlier : I made my entrance into the world – LOL! Funny enough, I have a cousin who I am four hours older than, and she was born of the 4th!
i agree about the COOL CAT thing – have an AWESOME WEEKEND!
RYC: Uh–no. I meant that every person has the right to express himself–as long as what he expressed was something good and beneficial to society. Of course it is wrong to call girls as whores or something.
I don’t know many of the people you have discussed, mainly because they are American and from your place or from Europe. I was merely making a comment about expressing oneself.
