The Arithmetic of God
*When the body is separated into two parts there is a division or separation.
*We have 2 parts of the Bible: Old Testament and New Testament
*Ebner had 2 sons; the name of one was Peleg; for in his days the earth was divided. Genesis 10:25
*In John 10:18 the word “Power” is used twice and the next verse speaks of division.
*In Revelations 16 hail, plague & earthquake are used 2 times in connection with the word divided.
*Genesis 1:4 it’s said, “and God divided the light from the darkness. – 2 things: light & darkness
*Mark 6:41 – 2 fishes were divided among them.
What’s your favorite number? Why?

Virginia Tech Tragedy is a Wake-Up Call to Parents
The greatest thing a parent can do for their child is connect with them. It appears that Cho did not connect with a single person upon this earth. I do find it interesting that Cho did not harm his roommates. I’ve heard other mass murders say that they would not hurt anyone they “knew”. Why? I tend to believe it’s because of a desire to connect. People do not want to be seperated. Dillian the killer of Colombine targeted Christians simply because he went to a church youth group and was not accepted. (That was in his writings.)
I give this challenge: Seek to connect with those around you, especially the quiet and withdrawn.

Ooo… You sure are thinking about biblical numbers lately… you must be working on something.
My favorite number is 2… my birthday is the 22… that’s all I’ve got. lol Ang
In all honesty, I don’t have a favorite number. I tend to like the numbers with no straight lines with exception to 0 by itself (3,6,8,9), but can’t really give a reason why.
I like the number one. There’s one God, one me, and one way to heaven!
I loved this post. You have to do more of these!
78 or 11 is my favorite, I don’t why I like them though
how’s the dance team coming along?
Of course, me doing day care, you know I thought of number 1 and number 2.
Good post, and good encouragement to connect with the ones who stay on the outskirts. I go after the ones who never get up and greet anyone in church. I know it probably annoys the heck out of them, but I’d rather be known as the annoying bothersome friendly one, than have them think our church is unfriendly. It has been pouring rain all night. Buckets. Loads. Tons. It’s like the heavens opened up and it it is pouring.
I choose 0.
By the way, that is a tough challenge….. Because it takes so much effort to get to know someone that is withdrawn.
I have always like learning of the many ways God communicates to us in His Word.
My favorites # is 7, and that was before I knew it meant completion.
Good challenge
sending my love to your way! yes being human without no connection is the hardest thing ever we can experience.
Good morning. You do like math stuff, don’t you?
This may seem to some like splitting hairs, but the truth is that there was a world of difference between Cho Seung-Hui and Dylan Klebold.
Klebold was trying to connect and was rejected. Cho not only made no effort to connect, but rejected efforts by others to reach out to him.
Klebold may have been created. Cho was purely demonic.
7/8 my birthday is July 8th!! Isn’t 7 the number of completion?
You say this, and I ate lunch alone today. I’m still dealing with the fallout of the salary stuff. It’s sad when adults act like children.
Hey, interesting post. Hope you aren’t offended that I took off those past two comments, they were just excessive and small snippets of words. Anyways, if you ever have the time, check out my latest post and tell me what you think of it.

I like 1 and 3. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit…all ONE GOD. Amen!@
Good evening!
