One of these is a urban legend the other is true. Which is which? A or B
A is the urban legend.A. [The first atomic bomb was tested] at Trinity Site in the New Mexico desert at
5:30 a.m Mountain War Time,July 16, 1945. For those who understood what was happening, it was a cosmic revelation that would change the world forever. For those who didn’t, it was still one big explosion. Georgia Green, 18, of Socorro was in a car50 miles north onHighway 85. She was being driven by her brother-in-law, Joe Wills, to a music lesson in Albuquerque. There was a tremendous flash. “What’s that?” she said. Georgia was blind.B. Locked in a war with Westinghouse over which of them would control the future of electric power, Edison worked to discredit his rival’s alternating current with claims that it was unsafe — so unsafe that it could be used to kill people. So Thomas Edison invented the Electric Chair.
Breaking News:
Police in Saudi Arabia have arrested 172 suspected militants who
were allegedly plotting to carry out suicide attacks against oil
fields and military targets, including some who had trained as
pilots, a Saudi intelligence official said Friday.Saudi state
television showed footage of a large weapons stash discovered
buried in the desert including plastic explosives, ammunition,
handguns and rifles.
I find this interesting because I’m reading Oliver North’s book, “Assassins”. It’s plot line is very similar to the above Breaking News. (Very good book by the way.)

It’s a very good book because a very good and truthful man told our government the FACTS over 25 years ago. If the Liberal party, who would not know or face the truth if it got up and slapped them silly (which would be an enormous improvement), publically recognized what Oliver North told them at those hearings, when back when, we would not have the condition in the world we have now. However, that is perfect HINDSIGHT. Albeit, prophesy is fast coming into fruition and hold on to your souls in Christ. I am NOT a doomsdayer but terrible things are going to happen.

“B” is NOT true…..
Although Edison was locked in a war with Westinghouse over which of them would control the future of electric power, there are many rumors as to who really invented the electric chair. A sounds very beliveable. I had to do a report in school on the horrors of Hiroshima. Peoples’ eyes melted in their heads. I can believe someone could “see” that explosion 50 miles away.
Yea you could say that! !!!
im still of my other religions though
just adding to them! hahaha!
(bows)
hope you are doing well!
I want to think B is a legend. Just guessing!
Have a good day tomorrow.
B is false. He didn’t invent the electric chair
A is the Urban Legend. How are you all doing? Trying to get caught up on my friends today. God bless you all, and your services tomorrow… Carolyn
Both are pretty much true except that the girl wasn’t totally blind and could see light, and Edison did not really “invent” the electric chair, he just developed the technology. He noted that alternating current could be used to kill. He and his associates proved it on stray animals in public demonstrations as well as an orangutan, a horse, and a cow. Many, many stray animals were also tortured and then killed eventually. Bought from boys on the streets for 25 cents each. You know, all for the sake of science. I’m certainly not an ‘animals rights activist’, but that just disgusts me.

That’s how these urban legend thingies get started–they contain just enough truth to be believable!
Too pretty outside to stay in here, but I just wanted to drop by & say hello….
A is true and B the urban legend. Am I correct?
Happy weekend!!!
