  • I appreciated all the comments concerning “What you want your spouse to know”.  I work with people in my job.  Xagna is a valuable tool to help me understanding different personalities and insights into people.  Thank you.

I think Americans are going to have to tackle some important issues concerning the horrible incident at Virginia Tech.  One issue is the Freedom of Privacy.  I use to work at a Federal Prison and at times we had inmates come through that had Aids.  Because of the Privacy Act I wasn’t suppose to know.  My wife and I were Foster Parents for many years and also because of the Privacy Act there were things we couldn’t know.  No one around Cho knew he was diagnosed as having mental problems.
Here’s my question:  Where is the balance between the privacy act and the safety of others?

Do you like to talk about yourself?
Don’t answer this question with a yes or no but if you like to talk about yourself then tell something interesting about yourself.  If you don’t like talking about yourself then say something interesting about someone else.

Here’s something about me today.  I knocked my bucket of monkees off my shelf this morning and had to pick em up.

    The Arithmetic of God
1 “One”  This number means unity.  It comes from the latin word that means “Unus”.  In John 17:20-22 Jesus prayed for unity.  May they become one as We are One.

    My Life Be Like

  • Day off today.  I was reading an article that had things that men wished their wives would know.   The first one was that men need respect above love.

My question is this:  What would you like your spouse to know?

  • PROFESSOR: KILLER RACKED BY ANGER

English major Cho Seung-Hui identified as killer Teacher, concerned at his writings, took him out of class She contacted police, university, nothing was done Search warrant reveals bomb threat found.      The police could not find anything beyond Cho’s words to do anything.  In order for the police to have done anything with Cho his “American rights of freedom of speech” would have been violated.

My question is this:  Are you willing as an American to give up your “freedom of speech rights” in order to stay safe?”

2nd question:  Are you willing to give up your rights to “bear arms”?

  • Secret Language

    My Life Be Like

After I got married I had to learn a whole new language.  When my wife says, “I’ll be OK”  – it really means I’m not OK right now, you really need to get away from me.”  Extra cleaning means I’ve really messed up.  There is so much in this new language that I don’t understand yet.
This secret language isn’t just between a husband and wife.  In the early 90′s I was a director for a summer camp for the disabled.  I found that they had a secret language that they just expected others to know.  We attempted to teach them to help the non disabled community understand them.
I was so impressed with one man.  He was a deaf man I worked with when I was in the Navy.  He went out of his way to help others understand him.  He taught them sign language.
    I have 2 questions:
Do you have a secret language?  What is it?
Do you help your spouse or those around you understand your communication?

    Study backs dinosaur-bird relation theory

BOSTON (UPI) — U.S. scientists have sequenced DNA from a 68 million-year-old   Tyrannosaurus rex and found support for the theory that dinosaurs are related to birds.
Here’s my take on dinosaurs:  First I don’t think animals and man is millions of years old. The earth?  The creation account puts in in terms of thousands of years verses millions.  Before the great flood the earth was tropical.  Lizards don’t stop growing and since the earth was tropical the animals became huge.

  •  Post It Notes

This picture reminded me of when I took my son Noah to church with me.  I had to do some work so I thought he was playing in another room.  He wasn’t.  He had collected a lot of sticky notes and put them on all the chairs in the sanctuary.  I didn’t know about it until the next day, when my Pastor told me that he had to get them off really fast before the service started.

Sometimes we get our eyes upon the problems of this life and forget what awaits us.  We may get dissapointed in people and withdraw.  But, when we look at the riches that has been given us by Jesus, we see clearly.

Cat becomes bus regular in Britain

LONDON (UPI) — Bus drivers in London have nicknamed a cat that rides the No. 331 bus several days a week Macavity after the classic T.S. Elliot poem.

The cat, which has a collar and gets on and off at the same stops every time, was first noticed by bus driver Bill Khunkhun, 49, The Daily Mail reported Monday.

“It is really odd, the first time I saw the cat jumping off the bus with a group of passengers. I hadn’t seen it get on which was a bit confusing,” he said. “The next day I pulled up on Churchill Road to let a couple of passengers on. As soon as I opened the doors the cat ran toward the bus, jumped on and ran under one of the seats, I don’t think any of the passengers noticed,” he added.

Macavity has been riding the bus since two or three times a week since January, The Daily Mail said.
