MOTHERS SAID:
Funny fictional quotes from mothers in history…
COLUMBUS’ MOTHER: “I don’t care what you’ve discovered, Christopher.
You still could have written!”We had some really bad weather last night. A tornado struck 5 miles out of Yankton. It destroyed at least one home and one business that I know of – probally more.

Awwww……how we (mothers) can lay the guilt trip on our children!! : )
I saw some of the news on the tornadoes last night….looks awful. Though Spring is a wonderful time of season, when those clouds begin to gather — it makes me nervous!!
toodles for now
Tornado season is an awful scary thing. Ang
I like the Columbus joke….
Tornados are sure scary!!! We get hurricanes where I live…those are scary too.

You guys okay? Oma and Opa’s windows were blown out and their fifth wheel landed on top of their van. No details yet, but they are all okay. Their church family was going to come out last night and help them board up the windows. It was a God thing, as T had called to let me know there was a tornado in Yankton, and I told her she’d better call her folks. She called and they were getting ready to go on a picnic.
Good thing old Chris didn’t write. She’d have given him a hard time about that not being the East Indies.
i hate when tornado season rolls around. one year one destroyed my kids school and killed one of the students. rough stuff.
hahaha… oh Mrs. Columbus
We had a lot of tornatic activity as well. However, thankfully, no where near us.
Tornados are rough. Hurricanes aren’t too much fun either.
I understand Mrs. Columbus. It’s tough when they go off all explore-y and forget about their moms.
I hope you all do Ok that are in that terrible weather areas.
