RYC: The book is about training children to come into the presence of the Lord. So many church programs have the mindset that we should just “Keep the kids busy while their parents enjoy God time” and this book explains that kids are anointed too! I know when I was a kid’s pastor, we had our own little group of intercessors, and you should have heard those kids pray! WOW! We also trained children to do altar ministry, help lead worship, etc. Some of the kids were prophetic. Some of them saw visions, some of them had a real evangelistic call. It was pretty awesome. A lot of kids don’t even know they can be used by God because no one trains them and gives them a chance. I think when kids are saved around the age of five, but no one gives them any ministry opportunities, but the time they are 12, they are bored with church, and we tend to lose them. We need to keep them involved. OK! I guess I just had blabber fingers there, but this was so much a part of my vision when I was a Children’s Pastor! I guess it’s still in there! LOL! I totally agree! We can raise up an army for the Lord with the children!
