  • It's generally a bad idea.

  • I work too hard earning it to chance loosing it.

  • I do not go for it. Some people get really hooked on it and they can wipe their savings out in no time.

  • if we play in good moderation then it okay but those that sell their homes/cars for their addiction are scary!

  • I'm catholic. Bingo.

  • waste of money. waste of money. waste of money.

oh... and not really biblical either.

and did i mention... waste of money?

  • not a big gambler and kinda look down upon it if you have a problem with it.

  • Gambling in and of itself isn't bad. It is when poeple become enslaved to it, risking the abilitiy to provide for basic needs. I like to play low risk games of chance, like when they raffle off a quilt as a fundraiser for a school. I wouldn't mine winning millions, but I wouldn't spend a dollar when I don't have a dollar to spare.

  • I am anti- casinos and wont even watch a movie at a casino complex.  My friends hate me for that.  I don't have a probelm with Lotto tickets.  I don't buy them regularly but i do on occasion.  Twice a year I bet on a horse.

  • Dont tell my pastor - I am supposed to be a good Baptist

  • My grandmother always said a person never prospers from ill gotten gains!!! I work too hard for my money to chance it away!!!Have a great weekend

  • I live in a state surrounded by gambling.  The big argument here is people go out of state to gamble and we need them to stay home to do it.  Oklahoma has it.  They promised that the schools would prosper and each kid that wanted a college education would get big help due to the gambling revenue.  A few years into it, the schools are going broke and there is no money for the help for colleges.  Where did the money go?  I don't know.  I do know people that can't afford to buy milk spend hours in the casinoes.  I have seen the poverty surrounding the casinoes in several states.  So who is getting rich?

  • The indian Nations own the gambling around here.  The profits they make from them are truly astounding.  I know many people who work in the construction division who say a casino can be entirely paid for in 6 months profits.  It's an indicator of how poor a choice is to give them the money.  Not a good idea.
