McDonald’s
We’re taking the entire Kid’s Church to McDonald’s this morning & I’m nervous. We’ll have approximately 60 kids that will descend upon the playland and I have no reinforcements. I have no one that would be able ”search and rescue” should that be the mission change. There will be 5 of us on the front line but if they decide to overtake us we’re done. I say no retreat for the treat of McDonald’s.
The McDonald’s Experience: It went fairly good. Almost 60 kids and 2 adults (Most of my adults bailed out. – I guess it’s only for the brave.) I’m so thankful for the brave teens that faced the invasion with me. I would have given anything to video tape all the “viewers.”
- The many people that were looking in the playland from the safety of being on the other side of the glass. They had faces on I haven’t seen before; faces of total amazement. When we were finished we lined up the kids and marched out of McDonald’s. Will I do it again? Absolutely – when I get rid of this nervous tic.

The suffering one must endure for the Lord’s sake. I’m not concerned for you, but for the entire staff at MickeyDs.
Sounds crazy! Good luck.
Whew! McDonald’s may never be the same!
Lifelong memories are in the making…
even before you get off the bus say,”listen up….”
You are outnumbered! Surrender your hashbrown patty! You might want to hop a plane!

Oh, wow! Have fun. I hope you alerted the store you were coming. Other wise there might be a whole lotta callin on the name of the Lord while you’re there, and not in a good way.
Have a great week!
Sounds like fun and you are still young at heart. As my one day care girl says, “Mc-O-Donalds.” Hope you survived.

Glad you had a good experience. One of the activitiese that I enjoyed the most when I stopped teaching was watching other school groups on field trips and not being responsible for them.

60 / 2 bout normal….. I’m sure the McD’s was happy to see everyone, not so sure about the other customers…. LOL

I wish I could have gone to church when I was a child. Stories like this make me feel lonesome. And I am old.

You are a much braver person than I. I couldn’t handle a zoo of kids like thsat if my life depended on it. However, I would’ve loved to been a fly on the wall to watch YOUwith all those little darlings. You truly are brave!
