  • Cartoon #5701
I’m all types of Christian Music.  What are you?

    Today's Cartoon
Recipe PhotoI’m making Phillipino Pork Adobo tonight.  It brings back memories because when I was in the Navy in San Diego, I would take the public bus to the plasma center.  I would give blood and use the money to go across the street to a Phillipino Restaurant. Then I would go back to the ship.  That was my Saturday entertainment for many months.

  • LOL Thanks for sharing!

  • you have an awesome day!

  • LOL at the snakes.  It reminds me of my own children.  I all Christian music, also.

  • I’m a little bit everything . . . except rap . . . and death metal . . . and techno . . . and house . . .

Come to think of it, I’m pretty picky.

    :o )

  • I like a good balance.

  • me i love  contemopry christian music love shelly.

  • I like all music too, but I really love the old baptist hymnal songs, the ones I grew up with and know the words to, I think this is because if I forget my reading glasses on Sunday mornings I don’t have to just hum along!

  • pork adobo is Rudy favorite but our version is sweet and add either quail eggs or regular white eggs.

  • funny the things we do when we’re young.

  • It is past my bedtime. I click into your blog
    ….It is say HEY Day!
I looked at your cartoon. Hey Hey Hey!
Those were the words that I used on my blog today.

We are still praying for Pastor Jeff.

    Have A Great Weekend!
Full Moon Day is on the 26 of October.

    Peace to you,
    ! Susie ~ :0)

  • ryc: Lao version we cook the pork really tender  and get rid of the oil that came from the pork then add the sweet soy sauce(maggie or mountain brand) then add the boil hard eggs to it or quail eggs whichever you prefer. Filipino version they used vinger and we don’t.

  • Mmmm. What’s the recipe?

I like all kinds of Christian music but rap. If I know the words, I like it though.

  • DC Talk, from their “Free at Last” album on up.  Petra, Whiteheart, Third Day, Caedmons Call, Acapella (the group), Hillsongs.  I am definitely not country, and I don’t like rap per se, but it doesn’t mean that there aren’t some songs in that genre which I do like.  A good beat and good harmony will win me over most of the time.

  • Those are cute cartoons LOL. I have a Phillipino friend who shares my love of cooking. She introduces me to cool ingredients from time to time. I really enjoy that.
ryc- It’s good to hear you’re instilling the same good financial planning in your kids! I started thinking about retirement when I was about 13. I haven’t had much I could save, but it’s better than nothing! I just hide money away in different accounts I don’t use often and try not to touch it… unless the heater breaks LOL

  • Whoooa baby! That looks good! I looked up the recipe at http://www.cooks.com/rec/doc/0,1727,159169-226196,00.html and you got cubed potatoes in there? It sounds very good. I must try that. I bet the cooking of it makes the house smell like your memories.

By the way I’m almost all country with a little ’50′s oldies but goodies and my personal theme song How Beautiful Heaven Must Be.
