  • Turn Back

    Today's Cartoon
Turning back the clocks reminds me of my time in the Navy.  I’m sure there was a big laugh in some high Washington office when they decided to have the USS Kitty Hawk cross the international date line on Friday the 13th.  We had two of those Fridays.  The strange part was returning, actually loosing a day was very strange.  The Navy did have the power to take away your birthday.
If you could relive any day in your life.  What would that day be?

  • OH YEA!!!!  I forgot tonight was the night we fall back an hour!  That’s a blessing!

ryq:  Hmmm…I don’t know…I can’t remember many of my days but probably a day from my childhood..when things were simpler.

  • When my little niece came to visit ,she opened up he girlie purse and pulled out a  reminder postcard ‘to turn back the clock’ that came in the mail from some congressman . She was so concerned that I remember to do that. I thought that was funny!

  • if i could re-live any day in my life, it would be the day i gave my heart to Jesus.  such a wonderful feeling of peace and acceptance that day!  if i had a second choice, i would pick a day, any day, that my mom was still alive – simply so i could tell her how very much i love her……

  • Nov. 11th, 2005.

  • I don’t know I have so many great ones… I couldn’t choose.

  • You know I actually have no idea this time.

  • RYC- The day my ex said it was over. He didn’t want to be married to me forever. If I could go back knowing and feeling what I know and feel now, I’d tell him good-bye, go now, good riddance, and all- right away, and not drag the pain out for 18 months.

  • that is a good question and reminds me of the play -”our town” that life is just so presious for us human’s to enjoy.

I would just take anyday that everyone was alive (that are gone now)

we nurses always hated working the grave yard shift cause we had to work more..

  • I got to think about this one. There are so many.
If I did relive any day, I might try to do something different.
So I better not relive any day. Enjoy that day that I am in.

I am thankful that God has given me a day to life each day.
You ask us a good question. Reliving a day in life.

    Have A Good Day!

  • When we came back to the States from Japan, we actually arrived before we had left!

I can’t think of a day I’d like to relive.  My memories of good days are such that if I were to relive them, I might be surprised or disappointed about things that happened that I had forgotten about.  Especially if I were to go back in time with the perspectives I have now; I would probably see things very differently.

  • Bad news.  Prayer needed.  Check out my  protected post I just posted.

  • i relive one often in my mind and that is the day i was baptized in Jesus name and received the promise of the Holy Ghost. I never want to forget where he brought me from.

  • a day back in 1983, in Bridgeport, CT.  When I said goodbye without telling of my love

  • I’d relive any day in my childhood while on vacation with family in Myrtle Beach.

  • Regarding question of the day: I would not want to relive the moment, because it was the darkest time in my life, but I would like to change some choices that I made during that time.
