  • Best Friend

    Today's Cartoon
Do you have a “best friend”?

    2036
Men are projected to live to the age of 77 and women 82.  I will be 77 in 2036.  That gives me 29 years.  My best years will be the next 19.  I have greater acceleration in my step as I think of this.

  • I used to have best friends… Now we’re all just close friends.

I feel like dying now, and go straight to Heaven.

  • love the cartoon. :)

    have a great day!

  • I have been best friends with a person for nineteen years.  We have been together on the highest mountains and in the lowest valleys.  We can be apart for years, but when we reunite, it is as though we were never apart.  I can’t imagine my life without her.

  • I have one or two who will go to bat for me. Do you?

  • my very best friend died last summer and that is why I joined classmates.com and xanga not to replace her but I realized how important childhood friend’s are.

  • have you heard that song “in the year 2525?” it was recorded in the 60′s but it is so true today

  • Barbara Edwards is my best friend and has been since ’84. Can’t imagine life without her and don’t know that I could live without her…

  • My husband is my best friend, followed closely by my kids, sisters and parents… then there are a few select close friends…

and ug… 32 more years of this?

  • I am very lucky to be surrounded by people who love me and great pets.  I couldn’t name a best friend.

ryc- maybe I’ll get lucky and my passport will take a long time. I would much rather delay the Canada trip until the weather is warmer. Spring sounds good to me lol.

  • my very best friend is of course.. Jesus.  He is there for me no matter what….i can talk to Him about anything without fear of judgement or ridicule…as far as an “earthly” best friend – yep, have one of those too!  as a matter of fact, she will be here this coming tuesday, and she and i are heading down to the beach for an extended all girls visit! woooo!!!!

  • I do have a lot of friends, and like I said a few who will go to bat for me. I don”t really have any particular person that I would say is my best friend.

  • ryc:  what a friend we have in Jesus, all our sin and pain to bear! what a privilege it is to carry, everything to Him in prayer!

  • Jesus is my best Friend. I do have friends.

RYC: “I depend heavily on the Lord’s leading.”
That is the best dependence that we all need.

             Thanks for sharing….

  • I have friends but i would say my husband is my best friend followed by my sister…couldn’t imagine my life without her!

  • THANK YOU FOR STOPPING BY AND YOUR COMMENT!!! IT ALWAYS BLESSES ME WHERE PEOPLE ARE WHO DO NOT DISCRIMINATE BECAUSE OF SOMEONE’S PAST, THEIR SKIN COLOR, ETC! I ALWAYS SAW WE ALL BLEED RED!!! IF IT’S A PERSON OR AN ANIMAL, I LOVE IT! I DON’T SEE COLOR WHEN I SEE A PERSON, I SIMPLY SEE THEIR CHARACTER AND HONESTLY I THINK THAT’S REALLY ALL GOD SEES IN US…THE STATUS OF OUR HEART!

THANK YOU FOR STOPPING IN! YOU HAVE BLESSED ME!!!

  • Yes! Best friends! There is Flash of course! But if you are not counting spice – then I will have to take the 5th! I might get my @$$ kicked!

  • Thanks for your nice comment. I like this comic and your relevant post. I think that as one who has been blessed with a wondrful past, & wonderful friendships – past, present, & future…. that life just keeps getting better. (I’ve always been somewhat of an optimist…. But with God on our side, that is an optimism based on reality.) Have a great weekend. ~ Carolyn

  • I am blessed with 3 best friends.  I know that I can tell them anything and they will not judge me.  They will support me.  I would do the same for them.
