    Dark Energy: Experience the Mystery

Our universe should be slowing down… but it’s speeding up.

Energy has to come from somewhere… or can it come from nothingness?

The expansion of the universe is speeding up, powered by a force we’ve never encountered before and can’t yet explain.

This was from NASA, the hubble telescope scientists.

In the above sentence replace God with the word nothingness and you have today’s Word of the Day.

I’ve been appreciating everything around me a little more.  We have an Iraqi lady, volunteering at the church.  (She and her family had to flee Iraq because of the danger.) She is so amazed at America and what we have.  She was helping me make up birthday cards for the children the other day.  I printed out addresses on labels.  That really amazed her.  She’s so impressed on how houses are lined up and beautiful.  -in her own words.  Everyday she speaks about her amazement.

    Here’s a funny joke.

  • I am so amazed by your Iraqi lady.  She will never know how much she has blessed me just by knowing of her.

  • RYC: If I’m gonna dream, I’m gonna dream big, and in color!

It is so nice to see a different perspective on what we have here in America.   We take things for granted sometimes.   It is good to have people who have come from bad/different situations to remind us of that.

  • One never realizes how much one has until someone with so little shows them.  we take so much for granted, electricity, clean water, homes with heat and A/C.   So much for such ungrateful people

  • I like the cartoon.

  • yes, my grandparents were all from the old country and I was very aware of how they felt. I of course took it for granted and my parents had a little harder time at things.  When your parents are immigrants it is alittle embarrassing for kids cause I believe the kids were afraid of something different.

  • Cute cartoon :) Thats about how it goes anymore.

  • What a blessing your church must be!!!!!!

  • Good cartoon.

  • I know that there are scientists out there who are also Christians and it would be nice to hear more from them.  I don’t have a problem with “God is responsible and when I’m ready, he’ll show me how and why.”    That cartoon is especially funny when you have a teen in the house (as I know you do… )  LOL

  • drop by today to say hi just in case i won’t be able be on tomorrow to visit.

have a great day my friend!

  • nice.  I love Zitz. Wonderful comic it is.

  • I love it! Use their own game, just as they use ours…. of course that not only works with teens, but with students of any age…

  • I LOVE Zits! So many times it is exactly like my teenage daughter! We so relate!

  • Pretty neat about your guest. We all should be more appricative of what we have.
I have a hard time understanding the folks from NASA and the other star gazzers. How in the world do they figure out all that stuff. Is it always proven or is it hypothetical sometimes.
It is either a very good science or they are very good sellers of whatever !
