Happy New Year, Brother in Christ!!!!!
I guess our family reunion,rain all summer,….
I guess Ill have to say my favorite memory of 2007, is finding out I was pregnant, after trying for QUITE some time. It was a really wonderful day
….well, After the morning sickness that morning anyway
Favorite memory of 2007 was when the son actually got a job. LOL
My favorite memory was the trip to Niagra Falls and then meeting dingdongdingbat’s wonderful party.
Family Memory: Our family get together Dec. 29. These are the best memories at the moment.
My favorite memory has to be meeting so many of our xanga friends.
Also a family reunion in North Carolina….oh I almost forgot, our trip to Maui….and how many favorite memories am I allowed?
My whole year was filled with favotite memories.
I find that if we focus on our troubles, then we will be troubled. If we focus on our blessings, then we will be blessed.
But then again that could just be me…
With the death of my parents, broken relationships with older brother, 2007 has not held good memories for me. But as Aloysius son reminded me…..I count my blessings that younger brother spent Christmas day with me. We hugged and promised to stay as a family! That meant the world to me!!
Not a good year…other than going back into teaching! That was a great blessing. Also, finishing this year with a healthy child, after a year of awfulness.
RYC: LOL husbands have GOOD memories about their wives’ pregnancies??? I think all frankie will ever remember is how cranky ive been LOL
When I had the girls, I wasnt ACTUALLY in pain…(full credit to god on that one, thats for sure), I had no pain medication, and still managed to talk to my mom on the phone through the pushing stage so she could hear the delivery…From 500 miles away. …I was extremely calm, and the only thing I wanted, was for him to stay by my side, I wasnt mean, screaming, in a ton of pain, crying, anything like alot of women do…(I do remember him telling me I could squeeze his hand though…about a million times, and I didnt NEED to squeeze it…So I used BOTH hands and squeezed it enough to almost break it and said “YOU WANT ME TO SQUEESE IT FINE!!!” lol he said I about broke his pinky LOL! but he got the point. Makes me sound mean…But I guess what Im saying, is that if I was more “dramatic” (I say this because I dont know what else to call it, not that women who are in alot of pain and screaming are wrong or whatever), with my pain, I think he would have handled it differently. He did well with the deliveries, just, doesnt deal well with me being up and down all night and getting frustrated because I cant sleep. it keeps him up too.
