I don’t know if it would be more comforting or disturbing to stay in a guarded house lol
That is the way it was in Bangkok. We stayed in a guarded compound. I don’t know which was more disturbing. The fact that we were locked in, or the guard himself. He was armed with a gun.
Necessity dictates the guard, I imagine. I don’t know if my sleep would be affected by it. Guess I’ll never know until I try….
I love the cartoons you post…
RYC: I love chinese food, but we usually go to the buffets, because, the girls eat better there for some reason….suprisingly, the girls LOVE the egg soup stuff, Im not a fan, My mom said I was about 10 when I started calling it “bird drop soup”.

they might be a third world country but the individual people seem to be full of happiness and love. p.s. I like the women’s clothes.
We have gates and guards here too, because of theft. Is that the reason in Nigeria also? I love the cartoon!
I think this morning I said this to Buster… “Bad Cat! Bad Cat! I should have gotten a dog!”
When you mentioned the GATE; I though of the The Gate of HOPE….
The guard at the GATE: Here is a thought: They are GREETING the people who are coming into the place. The African ladies sure know how to carry things on their heads.
About the cartoon: Dogs getting cats…. Some dogs do get along with cats. They had to have grown up together.
Thanks for sharing…. Hope your week has started off GREAT! :0)
The cartoon is very cute. Judi
yeah, aint nothing like walking into a pizza place and having a guard outside with a Thompson machine gun
The cartoon is very poignant to me. I’ve seen families say similar things to their loved ones. How very sad…
Christy
