  • Obama

I'm shocked at how many radicals that Obama had ties to in his past and America is still considering him.  Is America really wanting to go down the road of Socialism?  Are we so wanting everything to be taken care of? What happen to the struggle we had as a nation?  Do we really want to throw free enterprise out the window?  The most scarry thing is the people Obama has had ties to in the past is against Israel and "Christian America" or as they call it "White America".

  • The state of Pennsylvania considers John Peter Muhlenberg to be among the most important men in its history. He was honored with one of the two statues Pennsylvania placed in the National Statuary Hall in the Capitol in Washington D.C.

John was born on this day in 1746. His father, Henry, had come to America from Germany to minister to immigrants in the New World. But John decided to stay in Europe and pursue business, traveling, and studying. Gradually, he felt drawn toward ministry and returned to America, where he became a pastor, serving churches near Philadelphia and in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley.

As conflicts intensified between the colonies and the British government, John was stirred when he heard Patrick Henry proclaim, "Give me liberty or give me death!" Many were afraid to act, but John felt it was irresponsible to remain passive.

One Sunday in 1775, after preaching about Ecclesiastes 3, he challenged his congregation, "There is a time for all things...a time to preach and a time to fight. And now is the time to fight." He led 300 men to join the colonial army and became Colonel of the 8th Virginia Regiment. He served with distinction in the war, rising to the rank of Major General. John also realized Christians were called to be involved during peacetime, and he continued to be active in government, including terms as a U.S. Congressman and Senator.

Yankton is in shock of a triple murder.  A guy shot and killed three people when they stepped off an elevator.  We're friends with one of the families and the other girl came to our church several months ago.

The next day the Yankton police stopped 3 teens because they were violating their curfew.  The police found out that they were from Texas.  The officials checked out the home and found the parents were killed.  The teens did it.
