  • Discovery

Discovery rolls to the launch pad on Jan. 14, 2008, in preparations for mission STS-119.
Discovery is targeted to launch on the STS-119 mission to the International Space Station Feb. 12. During Discovery's 14-day mission, the crew will install the final set of solar arrays to the starboard side of the station, completing the outpost's backbone, or truss, enabling a six-person crew to live there starting in May.

  • Agony

I was thinking about struggle this morning.  It seems almost cruel at how life comes about.  I'm speaking about spiritual life.  A seed of impossibility is put in us.  It fights against our being.  We go into agony.  If we look to God during the struggle it will come into this realm at the right time.  If we look to our struggle we will abort or have a miscarriage. Or worse - we will kill the spiritual life that God has given to us.

  • Lunar Landing

NASA is testing technology that could be used to land on the moon.  It's really interesting and could be used on earth as well.  It's being testing in Death Valley via a helocopter.   The device sends high bursts of light to a surface and the on board computer instantly maps out the surface.  NASA is planning on sending a spacecraft to the moon by 2020.  That would be the start because they want to set up a lunar station in order to go from the moon to mars.  I say "To the Moon and beyond."

  • Life

Life sometimes takes some strange turns.  I was planning on going to a birthday party today at 1:30 for a 1 year old miracle child.  Her name is Hannah and she was born prematurely and at birth weighted less than 2 pounds.   I can't go to the birthday party because my cousin's baby died at the age of 3 1/2 months. (crib death).  The funeral is at the same time.  It's going to be a very difficult funeral.

  • Israel

At least three rockets have struck northern Israel from Lebanon, Israeli police say.
    Has the war exapanded?

I enjoyed watching footage of the great barrier reef from the International Space Station via NASA TV this morning.  It was beautiful.  I'm amazed at the beauty of this earth.  I look forward to when Jesus sets up his Kingdom here on earth.

  • Praying for Israel

I updated my status to "Praying for Israel" and got an angry response.  I chatted with the guy trying to find common ground and soon found the "anger" gyser.  Even though terrorist have bombed Israel first, much of the Arab world doesn't see it like that.  In the eyes of much of the world Israel can't win no matter what decision is made.  I pray America stays Israel's friend.

  • This is an incredieble video - Logan, The Sky Angel Cowboy.  Logan is a little boy with a big message.

  • Information

Here is my computer screen.  I love information & I love Vista gadgets.  In the upper left hand corner is rotating web cams from around the world.  Upper right hand side is a rotating slide show of all our photos.  Nasa TV is above the moon phases.  On the bottom I leave a different scripture verse for my family.
