  • TGIF?

Thursdays are my day off, so that technically makes my Fridays, Mondays.  I’m really looking forward to this day being over. (It’s rare for me to wish a day away.) Early this week I was called up to the hospital in an emergency.  A family wanted a Pastor to be with them.  For several hours we were with her Father.  We watched the vitals go down until he went to be with Jesus.  It was so difficult watching him suffer. Today is his funeral.
Then in the swing of emotions my wife and I were called later at night to pick up a few kids for emergeny foster care.  The two little Native girls are so wonderful.  8 months old and 3 years old.  They fit right in our family.  They are the type of kids you never want to sent back.  It was funny, one of my daughters friends came over to the house yesterday and said, “There are kids all over the place.”  (My wife has a day care in our home also)

  • Our pastors are off on Fridays/Saturdays with the exception of the 1 whose on-call, he gets to work on Friday.  lol.  I’m observing the Friday day off too…lol… I’ve been in the office all week too.  Although I have to go in tomorrow to decorate both kid’s service rooms for the Upward Day.  I could kick the person who came up with the wonderful idea of multi-ministy use room (our main kid’s room is used by four other ministries plus daycare throughout the week although the room is named Kid’s RaP theater!)!  Gr.

How does your wife have thinking time with all those kids?!

  • God has so blessed me through you, as He has clearly blessed so many through your service in His name. I pray that the day will be calm in His green pastures, and you will soon be home in the arms of your loving (extended) family.
    How is that grandson doing?
    Love,
