I will have an image in my mind the rest of my life. Kaylie kissing the Trynidy's coffin. The experience yesterday made me more determined than ever to reach out to young parents. That's a huge part of my job as a Children's Pastor. At the funeral, Paul Hill, the daddy who in anger killed his 4 month old baby, wasn't even mentioned. He was shown in pictures. I watched Paul's Dad and couldn't help but think of the horrible feelings that must be racing through him. I think whatever I do from this point on will have greater urgency and a renewed sense of importance.

Little Baby Killed
Story
Trynity, the 4 month old baby is a relative of mine on my Mom's side. We're going to the funeral today. Apparently Paul was putting Trynity in her car seat and was having a difficult time of it. She was crying a lot. He must of slammed her down. Paul then called 911 but the baby died. Kaylie, theMother wasn't around at the time. I grieve for her and I grieve for Paul. It was a horrible thing he did. The memory will be in his head for the rest of his life. -
octuplets
I've thought a lot about this. There is a lot of anger against the Mom that gave birth. My anger is not agaisnt her. She didn't nothing illegal. The babies are here and they need caring for. I pray there would be caring people around her that does help her.
I think it's time to look at our law system. We're producing so many babies in this country that the parent(s) can't take care of. I see mentally disabled women having babies. Where does freedom start and end? I don't know the answer but I do know our present welfare system has created this problem. From my view point I see it rewarding single Moms. -
Good Day
Went out to lunch with my oldest daughter. That was nice. We haven't done that in a long time.
Baby Cody is doing much better. At least he's not in the hospital.
Looking at the Blackberry Phone but it's still too much per month.
Cleaned the fish tank. The fish will like it. Oh yea they only have memory spans of 30 seconds.Wondering if any of you do Twitter?

Jon & Kate Plus 8
I'm really enjoying the book by Jon & Kate - Multiple Bles8ings. I've wondered what it would be like to have the camera on all the time for the world to see.
Would you change if you and your family was filmed all the time?

Watermelons
The watermelon is an amazing fruit. The first known watermelon harvest was recorded nearly 5,000 years ago in Egypt, and watermelons eventually became popular throughout the world. The U.S. Department of Agriculture estimates that 4 billion pounds of watermelon are grown in the U.S. alone each year.
There are more than 1,200 varieties of watermelon, with the smallest weighing just a few pounds. On the other hand, the Guinness Book of World Records reports that a man in Tennessee grew a watermelon that weighed 262 pounds!
These melons, even the very largest, grow from just a tiny seed. Those who plant watermelon patches, with the right soil and climate, can find themselves overrun with vines and an abundant harvest.
The Bible frequently refers to seeds to illustrate the principles that operate in God's Kingdom. For example, Jesus talked about the mustard seed - a seed so small that it's barely visible in the palm of a hand. If thrown into the ground, one little seed can grow into a large bush or tree.
Jesus used the mustard seed to describe the kind of faith that produces results. It only takes "faith the size of a mustard seed" to be able to speak to a mountain and say, "'Move from here to there,' and it will move." Those with "mustard seed" faith can know that "nothing will be impossible" (Matthew 17:20). But to produce faith and generate overwhelming blessings, we can't keep our Seeds in our hands: They must be Sown.
"It is like a mustard seed, which a man took and threw into his own garden; and it grew and became a tree, and the birds of the air nested in its branches." -Luke 13:19 NASB
