reagan  I’m enjoying reading the book about President Reagan.  One thing I find interesting is the contrast in his parents.  His dad was a drunk and his mom was a strong Christian.  Ronald became like his mom, his brother like his dad. Ronald decided early in life what direction he was going to go.  He had two clear choices and he decided the path his mom took.  I know all children have to make that decision and how sad when they don’t have a good choice to make.

    Shopping Remote

“Cash, check or charge?” I asked, after folding items the woman wished to purchase.

As she fumbled for her wallet, I noticed a remote control for a television set in her purse.

“So, do you always carry your TV remote?” I asked.

“No,” she replied, “but my husband refused to come shopping with me, and I figured this was the worst thing I could do to him legally.”

  • What I will always best remember President Reagan for was his use of the “City on the Hill” scripture! I loved that!!!

  • Thanks for sharing this info…..my favorite President!!

  • the more you read about him -the more a hero he will be to you. I know it was that way with me. He was the same person as a teen as he was later in life

that is not funny-once we told the boy(son)no and he left for the evening and took our remote and we tore the living room apart and when he came home we told him and he said,”it’s right here.” well, that was back in the 80′s and he got to us,too but we never thought he would be that mean to us.

  • Interesting about Reagan!   LOL at the joke!  Hope you are having a brilliant day.
