  • Inside a Mind

I'm reading a book, "Adam" by Tedd Dekker.  It's about a detective trying to find a serial killer.  The book spends a lot of time trying to get into the mind of the killer that calls himself, "Eve".  It brought me to a question:

Do you find yourself tyring to understand the thinking process of other people?

One reason I blog is to discipline myself.  The other reason is I love to hear input on a subject.  It helps me keep my life balance.

    Why do you blog?

  • NASA

NASA has launched a telescope that will search our corner of the Milky Way galaxy for Earth-like planets, calling it a mission that may fundamentally change humanity's view of itself.

If a planet was found that had life on it, would that change your view?

    *Razor Request*

Ronnie goes down to the barber shop. He gets his hair cut and then he is getting a shave. After being nicked by the barber several times Ronnie says "Hey buddy, have you got an extra razor?"

The barber replies "Well yes sir I do, would you prefer shaving yourself?"

Ronnie said, "Well not exactly but I thought I might could defend myself."

Do you laugh at stupid or jokes you don't understand?

  • 666

GE stock closed yesterday at 6.66cents.

What do you think of the number 666?

OK - A lot of you are getting the trivia questions.  This will be my last one for awhile and lets see who can get this one.  It's really hard and can drive you crazy.  But this is Friday so don't have a mind overload.

This is an unusual paragraph. I'm curious how quickly you can
find out what is so unusual about it? It looks so plain you would
think nothing was wrong with it! In fact, nothing is wrong with it!
It is unusual though. Study it and think about it, but you still may
not find anything odd. But if you work at it a bit, you might find
out! Try to do so without any coaching!

  • Stimulus & Trivia

Do you think the Stimulus Plan will work?

    Here's another Trivia:
There are two plastic jugs filled with water. How could you put
all of this water into a barrel, without using the jugs or any
dividers, and still tell which water came from which jug?

  • Rush Limbaugh

Or Rush Limboss as he's called by the media.

    Like Him?   or Not?  RUSH

    Trivia Question:
A murderer is condemned to death. He has to choose between three
rooms. The first is full of raging fires, the second is full of
assassins with loaded guns, and the third is full of lions that
haven't eaten in 3 years. Which room is safest for him?

  • Liberty or Death

This is a story about PH by PH
She was underneath the floor, in a locked room.  He was entraining guests and hoped she would be quiet, so no one would know she was there.  He breathed a sigh of relief as he let his friends out the door.  His secret was still safe.  He moved the rug.  He unlocked the latch and lifted the door.  She saw him as the light shined from above. He held out his hand with fruit in it.  With a "fear look" in her eyes she cautiously moved towards him.  She was so hungry. She pushed past her fears.  She grabbed the apple and quickly retreated to her spot in the corner.  She ate it so fast, splashing juice all over her face.  He rolled a couple more apples to her and stepped out of the light.  She would relax now.  He watched her eat and then lay down.  When she fell asleep he covered her and kissed her forehead.
This was behind the scene of a man who said, "Give me liberty or Give me death".  Patrick Henery's wife was insane.  She was insane at a time in American history when such people were put away.  I read this story several years ago from a book called, "The Rest of the Story" by Paul Harvey.  Good Day        I miss you!!!!

  • Pain

As I observe people I see many people avoiding pain.  I avoided pain for years.  I've seen people blame the pain on something or someone else.  Many people run away from it.  Pain they received as a child.  Pain they received by rejection. Pain they received by unmet expectations.  Pain they couldn't even identify.  They run from those that love them. They run and move away.  They run and change churches or jobs.  They run from the One who loves them the most.  There is no way of escaping the pain in this life.  Nearly everyone I've met has a "painful" story.

What do you do with your pain?

  • Green Stamps

Mark spoke yesterday and challenged & inspired us. (Children's Workers).  He talked about Moses.  It was very possible that Moses only had a few years with his biological Mother.  At the age of 5 or the most at 9, Moses left his Mother and went to live in the palace of Pharao.  All Moses spirititual training happened before he left his parents.  They must of taught him with a lot of urgency.  They must of taught him with a lot of passion.  If we knew we only had our children for the first 5 or 9 years of their lives; How much more passion would we use to shape their lives?  Well actually, according to Barna research we only have a short time to shape the rest of their life.  Barna Research says that what a child comes to accept by a 5th or 6th grader is what will be with them when they die.  Few exception of course, but for the most part this is true.

Anyone remember green stamps?  I'll never forget going into the green stamp store with my mom when she went to redeem her stamps.  Fun Memories.
