  • Obama & Iran

I’m glad that Obama finally came out with some strong words for Iran. But is it too little, too late?  We need to stand up for what is right. That is what this nation is all about.  It’s horrible sitting back in our living rooms and watching the slaughter.

  • Jon & Kate

I was so saddened when I watched their last show, finding out they are divorcing.  What makes me even more sad is the fact they have said they are Christians.  I heard over and over again, “I’m doing this for the kids.”  Marriage is an institution that projects Jesus to the world.  If a married couple lives for the children then the marriage is doomed to failure.  I don’t live for my children. I don’t live for my wife.  I live to show Jesus to the world.  That is my number one goal.  In doing that my marriage improves, my relationship with my family improves.  I don’t have an order of importance – God, Family, Church.  I have ONE important purpose in life.  That is to live to hear the Word of my Father through Jesus and do that Word.  I went to Jon & Kate’s site last night and wrote a much different response to them.  I expressed our love for them and encouragement but this response is not for them but to a different audience.   My goal here is not to get into their personal life and debate it.  My goal is to lift up the institution of marriage.  That is the only thing I will debate.

  • Reagan Vr Obama

    Contrast between 1982 and 2009

1982 – President established a doctrine to support those fighting for freedom.
2009 – President establishes no doctrine, not supporting those fighting for freedom.

1982 – President spoke to the world lifting up democracy
2009 – President apologized to the world for democracy

1982 – President acknowledged crisis and exposed the evils of denying human freedom
2009 – President acknowledged a great revolutionary crisis, but was careful not to offend the government.

1982 - President believed in truth for freedom
2009 – President believes in pacifism for good will.

1982 – President gave a light to awaken darkness
2009 – President gives a night light in hopes we don’t offend darkness

The US and the world needs another President that is not afraid to speak the truth, even if it offended.
Let’s not forget that America was born out of religious oppressive regime.  We are not a nation that is seeking to take over the world.  If we were we could have at the end of WWII.  But what did we do?  We rebuilt those nations we defeated.

  • Reagan vr Obama

I’ve been reading speeches the President Reagan made in the early 80′s.  He did a brave thing by speaking the truth.  He offended the Russian government but inspired the Russians and the wall fell down.
I’ve been listening to President Obama’s speeches concerning Iran.  He is being careful not to offend the Iranian government, thus he is not inspiring the Iranians.
I’m teaching the children this week to speak the truth iregardless if it offends people.   History shows that if leaders stand up and speak the truth, people are set free.  The reason that the American leaders didn’t want to offend Hitler was because they thought it could go worse on the Jews.  Sound familiar with Iran?

I’ll make some comparisons tomorrow with 1982 and 2009

  • Abortion

I’m back from a week of Kid’s Camp.  -recovering.

A worried woman went to her Doctor and said: Doctor,
I have a serious problem and desperately need your help!
My baby is not even 1 yr. old and I’m pregnant again. I
don’t want kids so close together. So the doctor said:
‘OK and what do you want me to do?’ She said: ‘I want
you to end my pregnancy, and I’m counting on your help
with this.’ The doctor thought for a little, and after
some silence he said to the lady:  ‘I think I have a
better solution for your problem. It’s less dangerous
for you too.’ She smiled, thinking that the doctor was
going to accept her request. Then he continued: ‘You
see, in order for you not to have to take care of 2
babies at the same time, let’s kill the one in your
arms. This way, you could rest some before the other one
is born. If we’re going to kill one of them, it doesn’t
matter which one it is. There would be no risk for your
body if you chose the one in your arms. The lady was
horrified and said: “No doctor! How terrible! It’s a
crime to kill a child! ‘I agree’, the doctor replied.
‘But you seemed to be ok with it, so I thought maybe

that was the best solution. The doctor smiled. realizing
that he had made his point. He convinced the mom that
there is no difference in killing a child that’s already
been born and one that’s still in the womb. The crime is
                             the same!

  • Camp

Headed to a week of Kid’s Camp in the Black Hills of South Dakota.  It’ll be fun.
