I’m headed to Character Connex today.  School Assemblies in Pipestone & Luverne Minnesota.  It’ll be great. 

I normally don’t like one way conversations.  People that keep talking and won’t allow a response from anyone, is very annoying & tiring.  You know the people.  They’ve been stuck at home and you’re the 1st adult they’ve seen in a long time and they still have their allotement of 10,000 words.  They proceed to give you the full allotement without any concern of whether you want it or not.  There are times when I want to learn and I will listen to a person in a one way conversation.   

What do you do when someone dominates a conversation?

There have been times I’ve grabbed my cell phone and acted like someone was on it just to get the person to stop. 
Some times I listen, yelling “shut up” in my mind.  
Now the cell phone thing doesn’t work when the person is giving you the full 10,000 words called you your cell phone. (Sometimes I wish I didn’t have such good reception. -lol)  

I had to laugh at Ricky yesterday.  Kim was shampooing the carpet and the machine kept going off.  She thought the worse.  When she would go forward it would work but when she went backwards it shut off.  Well you guessed it: Ricky was unplugging & pluggin in the machine.   He’s such a practical joker.

I listened to Tiger. I listened to people who respond to what Tiger said.  Some women said they couldn’t forgive him.  I got thinking, “What did Tiger do to them?”  I listened to one of Tiger’s “mistress”.  She was crying saying, “Tiger pursued me”.  “He told me he loved me.”  The mistress was having an actual affair with Tiger.  Was the other women having a heart affair?  Hollywood glamorizes what Tiger did.  In what Tiger said it sounded like he got caught up in the ”glamor world”-the unreal world – the ego realm.  As Americans are hearts were ripped open by reality in what Tiger got caught doing.   Tiger has been judged, tried and convicted in the public arena.   You can choose to ignore him, forgive him or not forgive him.  I think those that refuse to forgive him has put Tiger in the place of God.   Your thoughts?

I went to a funeral of a relative on my Mom’s side.  On February 4th, Cindy went into the doctor because her feet hurt.  She was found to have cancer.  She died on the 11th.  She was 47 years old. 

We’re in a blizzard right now – doesn’t look like too much snow.  I read that every state has snow except Hawaii. 

I would of loved to have watched Gus Borglum carve Mount Rushmore.
