The Mosque at Ground Zero is heating up on a national level.  Should muslims be allowed to build there?

  • My opinion is yes, it was not the religion that committed those awful crimes but a few barbaric extremists. Anyone I know who was Muslim was horrified at the incident, maybe even a bit more than many others, to think that people who practice their religion could contort it in such an evil, callous way to justify their crimes. I think a step forward would be uniting, regardless of what religion you follow, against terrorist crimes and remembering those who died. And what better way (again in my opinion) than having places of prayer for everyone at the site.

  • yes. People will not like it, but liberty and the constitution are the bottom line. I just posted on this too

  • i say yes but majority will rule.

  • All I hear is that they are Muslims, and not that they are Americans with rights like everyone else.

  • NO!  Common sense.  Time for some zoning.   There are tons of mosques in NYC, nobody is being prevented from practicing their religion.
