  • Style

    I'm reading a book about President Lincoln and the decisions he made. Mcclellan was a Union General.  He gave Lincoln a difficult time and disagreed with him on many occasions.  On one particular event, during a war meeting Mcclellan told President Lincoln that his plan had to stay secret.  The General refused to tell the President anything but right after the meeting went straight to the reporters and revealed his entire plan. President Lincoln was able to work with Mcclellan and in doing so gained the respect of many others.

  • Lottery Winner

    I was watching a show about people that won the lottery.  One guy won millions and lost most of his friends. He has a business that customizes cars.  Many of his customers decided not to pay him.  Others told stories much the same.   I suppose I'm like most and sometimes wonder what I would do if I came into a lot of money.  I would be afraid that a lot of money would change me and my family and that change wouldn't all be good.

    If you came into millions of dollars, what would change in you and your family?

    There was an episode on Friends that Phoebe was looking out her window and saw two of her friends.  When she saw more than she wanted to she yelled, "my eyes, my eyes".  At times xanga posts sites on the front page that causes the same reaction in me.  I don't like it.  I like clean and pure.  I see the real person that way.

  • Mess With


    I use to work at a Federal Prison.  There was an inmate there that loved to mess with people.  His favorite person to mess with was the psychiatrist.  On more than one occasion he would have the psychiatrist running out of the building, checking on his vehicle.  The inmate rarely talked to the psch but would talk to someone else in ear shot of the man.  It was funny.  One reason I like America's Got talent is to see how Howie is going to irritate Piers.

    I was helping a lady get a couch. She was looking at and wondering how she was going to get it home.  While she was looking at it she said, "God d..... it."  I looked at her and said, "If you don't want it please at least don't ask God to destroy it."  She got a chuckle out of it and put her hand to her mouth and said, "I'm sorry."  I then told her in a goofing around way that she's fortunate that God doesn't answer all her prayers.

  • Dreams

     

    I sure had some strange dreams the other night.  One dream was an alien science fiction dream.  It was the first night mare I had in a very long time.  Another one was one that I was on board a ship. 

    Do you have dreams?  Nightmares?  What was your last dream?

  • Story

    I love good stories.  I don't mind it when people around me make drama. It adds spice to life.  One of my favorite Biblical stories is creation.  It's so full of love.  A good story add a little mystery. Stay tuned for the next chapter. It's gonna be good.

  • Discipline

    I'm not sure what's happened but it seems like a lot of people, teens and kids, all got in trouble this past week.  I have an emergency meeting for such today.  I've handed out more discipline this past week than I'd like to. 

    Are you good at handing out discipline?

    When I talk to couples that need help in their marriage I first ask each one what their expectation is of their spouse.  I begin to see what their priorities are.  An answer I hear from the ladies is finances. The guys it comes down to respect.
