Good bye
We just got back from Aberdeen. Kim’s Dad is in the ICU and not expected to make it. We went to say our good byes. We were so blessed as to the miracles that happened over the last couple days. John was out of it most of the day, except for last night. For about an hour he clearly told us all his wishes. He has everything prepared. We prayed with him and he is so ready for heaven. He told us he’s not afraid and that he is ready to go.

That is wonderful.
sounds like a life well lived – Gods Speed!
That’s so beautiful, I am so glad he is not scared but eager and ready for heaven. Being able to say goodbye is such a wonderful gift. I will pray for continued strength and comfort.
Beautiful that he has such faith and the peace of mind it gives to him and you folks.
Even when they are ready, it’s hard to let them go. I will be praying for your family.
His attitude and words are the sign of a man who knows exactly where he is going.
Getting a chance to say “see ya’ soon” is so special and memorable!
HUGS!
It is comforting for you to be able to see him and he could communicate with you. It will still be hard to deal with his passing but also joyful to know that he is ready to enter into the Kingdom of the Lord.
Thank you for sharing the visit with us. No doubt he will be missed, but it’s comforting to know that he is with the Lord. TBTG also for your safe return. ~~Blessings, Prayers ‘n Cheers

I’m sorry for your family’s loss, but I’m happy for him.
I pray for an easy death. It seems that old age brings on all sorts of terrible pains.
That must be such a comfort that he’s ready and unafraid. God bless!
What an awesome testimony! He is an example to all to finish strong. Blessings to you and your family.
A blessing to be ready. It seems like God gives those moments of clarity and time, what a blessing. I know goodbye is sad, as you will miss him, my prayers are with you.
What a blessing. Prayers.
