I’m flying out to Phoenix this afternoon and driving my mother in law (Carol) and her sister (Arlene) back home. May daughter flew out yesterday and was grounded in Denver because of high winds. She should be flying into Phoenix any time now. We’re looking at being on the road for 23 hours. Carol went out to see Arlene and her husband. While she was there Arlene’s husband died. (I think he waited to leave so someone could take care of Arlene.)
We had a lot of people at the boys adoption party. It was great fun.
I’ve been watching this eagle. (Called Decorah Eagle – Decorah, Iowa) Actually the eagle in the picture is the papa eagle. Moma eagle was laying on the eggs this morning to be replaced by the male eagle about an hour ago. The last egg was laid on Monday. The first egg was on Feb 17th. An eagle usually takes 35 days to hatch. So the baby eagles may arrive around my oldest daughter’s birthday. Wouldn’t that be great if it was on the same day.
