Job
I like what I do. Well most of it. Since we adopt and foster children out of neglect and abuse we have a whole set of challenges because of that. My teenage adopted son continually gets himself in trouble, so you can say prayers for him. We have the slogan at work, “We can’t stay here”. -meaning we must continually get better. Besides working in the lives of children I also manage “benevolence”. We help people with food, furniture and funds – as needed. It gets tough not coping an attitude with people that “use the system”.

It’s good to see that you enjoy what you do, Randy. I’ll bet the kids enjoy it too!
The best part of my job is still being able to help people… the worse… the nursing staff. They get upset at me if I take the type B attitude, but I feel that lack of planning on their part doesn’t constitute an emergency on my part (because they all think they are the emergency).
That’s a great thing to do and I thank you for sharing that slogan with us. Appreciated!
Being retired is pretty much all good…except for the growing old part…
Good for you. Sorry the son is acting out. Our 18 yr old g-son is too. We fostered for 10 yrs.
