  • Debate Last Night

I thought both canidates did a good job last night.  President Obama showed up this time.  I think there were a couple things that hurt each person. Romney – It appeared he was fighting against the moderator at times. Obama – I don’t think it was good that the moderator came to his defense concerning the “terrorist” issue of Lybia. It made him appear weak and in need of help.  Each canidate took on each other, in what I thought was respectful.  Overall I would call the debate a tie.

What did you think of the debate?

Here are some things I noticed about the debate last night:
Ryan to Biden: “I think the Vice President knows that sometimes things don’t come out of your mouth right.”
Raddatz is liberal ABC host who, had Obama at her wedding.
Raddatz allowed Biden to go on for minutes without interruption, yet she interrupted Paul Ryan as he was making points.  She even joined Biden in interrupting Ryan when he was talking.
    Many of her questions
seemed designed to help Biden by framing questions along Democrat talking points.
It was like watching a football game that the umpires were slanted towards one team.
Biden was like an attack dog, constantly interrupting. It was obvious that Biden was determined to not allow Ryan to make his points because he didn’t want the President’s record to be a point of discussion.
Ryan may have been too polite.
This debate will be forgotten after the Presidential debate.

What was your thoughts of the debate last night?

  • VP Debate

The Vice Presidential Debate is tonight.  Joe biden and Paul Ryan.

The debate will cover both foreign and domestic topics and be divided into nine time segments of approximately 10 minutes each. The moderator will ask an opening question, after which each candidate will have two minutes to respond. The moderator will use the balance of the time in the segment for a discussion of the question.

Who do you think will win the debate?

I thought the debate last night was great.  Romney said he was running on principles not details.  I accept that.  Obama said in one sentence that it’s not about where we’ve been but where we’re going and in the next sentence he blamed Bush aaaaaaggggggaaaaaiiiiiiiinnnnnnn.  I thought Romney clearly won the debate last night.

Who do you think won the debate?
