Thanks to all those that responded to my question about horoscopes, magic and such. It was very controversial. Here’s the next verse: Because with lies ye have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad;
and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life. (Eze 13:22) I personally don’t want to offend anyone but the word of God is very offensive. It has to be. Why? Because change comes when people are offended. When an offense comes a decision must be made. To change or to go deeper within the offense and hold on to your present belief. Ask yourself this question: Is my belief getting me any where? If you think it is no one can change your mind. If it’s not then you can change. I’m afraid to. There is only one way and we need to find that One way.

…?
“What is good? What is evil? Who or what do you follow?”
My answers will be very simple. Good is doing right, by your heart and soul. Evil is just the opposite. Doing or being led to do something that is wrong for you.
I follow God, He is in my heart.
who are you?
hi
I don’t think I am qualified to answer what is good and evil. I’ve seen too many things in my life and I know that terrible things happen to people to make them the way they are. There is no denying there is evil in the world. To discern whether someone is a good person turned bad or inherently evil is beyond me. I just read my Bible and trust that it is God’s word.
that is deep man. Good is all that God created, because God said it was. evil is sin. i follow the teaching of Jesus. the happiest people are the people that Follow him. peace

that really isnt my baby picture.. lol. just a joke.
I do not hate christians. Real ones at least. I dispise the ones who think they know what they are talking about when they really don’t. I don’t like the ones who wear their “church camp” t-shirts and act like it’s a club that you have to be good enough to enter. I hate the ones who’se churches make up stuff like “No Music” or “No cutting your hair” or “Let your husband do whatever he wants to you”. I hate that. I believe the true word of God. Believe it or not, if you read the real bible before it was translated, it said completely different things than the new bibles do. It’s also quite strange that even though so many churches are against homesexuality, it says it no where in the bible. And people just assume it goes along with the scripture about perversion. Which has nothing to do with anything. So many people don’t realize that the bible also says that a man can sell his daughter into slavery, did they keep that law around? I just think it’s ignorant to say that every religion other than Christianity is wrong, and that if you don’t do everything that the bible says…that you’re going to hell. I also think it’s quite hilareous that people consider people who have premiscuous sex before marriage are going to hell, because Jesus LOVED Mary and she was a whore… Jesus loves everyone who does good, not just the ones who follow. And it’s hilareous that the Christians just happen to be the only people I know who Judge. Isn’t that one of the biggest points of the bible? Do not Judge? EVERY single christian I know judges. That makes me sick. I went to a christian school for 5 years, and let me tell you that it happened to be one of the most painstaking horrible experiences of my life. Everyone there was cruel, including the teachers. When I went to a public school, I noticed that the majority of my friends came from a diversity of religions, and many of them were so open to other people it made my heart warm. Now tell me, who goes to heaven? The person who doesn’t close their mind to ONE opinion dug into their brain since they were born, judges everyone, is a snob? Or the person who is kind to everyone, open to many opinions and doesn’t judge. I personally choose the second. But i know that for the most part I am making a broad generalization about Christians. I honor and look up to any christian who actually follows the rules of the bible. I Try to be like them as much as possible. I don’t attend church because everytime i go, the preacher seems to be a terrible influence. I don’t expect them to be perfect, but I’d like to see them displaying what they are trying to teach me. The church my mother mostly would like me to attend, I refuse to because the preacher, one sunday said “You should sell all of your possessions and give them to the church.” When I know for a fact that he lives in a 2 million dollar house, paid for by the church. Every church I attend seems to be the same way.
(example, the guy who commented above me) Completely..COMPLETELY ignorant.
I didn’t mean to say that I thought you were wrong, I know nothing about you or anything like that. I don’t mean to present the fact that I was judging you. I was refering to christians I know. About your questions… I’ve attended several churches, and I’m preferably Non-Denominational. I’ve attended Methodist, my step-mom is the head preacher of all of the methodist churches in Mississippi… I’ve attended many Church of Christ churches, seeing I went to a church of christ church (this is my most unfavorite church). I’ve attended baptist, episcopal…. blah blah blah blah blah. In my opinon Catholics make up to much, Same with Methodists, Church of Christ for the most part have good ideas, but they over-analyze the bible WAY TOO MUCH. aka, one sentence about not having instruments and they go “NO MUSIC EVER!” and.. that they are the only church going to heaven? ughhhhhhh… Baptist are too strict too. Church of God I don’t even want to talk about, that’s just disgraceful to women. The Jewish church irratates me, simply because of the fact that their prayer is (or was) for a man: Thankyou God for not making me a woman. Women: Thankyou God for putting me here to serve a man. What’s up with that? I think what the bible was supposed to display was, a man should honor his wife, (a.k.a not hitting, cheating, etc.) and work and provide for his family. Since the times have changed, women work equally with men, Therefore knocking out the “Cooking, cleaning, sewing, taking care of the children” stereotype. I think a man should provide for his family and give the woman an opportunity not to work. If the woman wants to work, the chores and everyday life etc, need to be carried out EQUALLY. If you haven’t noticed yet I’m a huge women’s liberal…. (feminist, in lame mans term). I am a very proud woman and strongly disagree with any law against womans equal right to man. I know this might be extremely overwhelming for a 15 year old, but… i’m extremely mature for my age. For things I believe are evil… I actually, for the most part, don’t believe in evil. I believe everything happens for a reason. I think I am one of the only people who understand why God places suffering in our lives. Everything happens for a reason, and God has a purpose for all of us. It’s just hard to understand. I think God also enjoys suffering among humans because it displays our love for him. The only problem I believe between God and Humans is the fact that God can not understand what It is to be a human. Even when he was Jesus he didn’t understand what humans felt like, what our struggles were. I mostly base what I believe in off of a book (as silly as it sounds) by Anne Rice. It’s called “Memnoch the Devil” It’s the best book I’ve ever had the priviledge to read. I believe that Satan isn’t as bad as everyone makes him out to be. I believe that evolution and christianity are tied together. I believe that God created energy, which then created the big bang theory. He did it all because he wanted to understand why he was God. (I won’t drag on…because I’m sure you’re laughing by now, and that’s okay.. a year ago I would have been laughing too). I believe that if you are an overall good person, you win your right into heaven. I think God just considers being a believer as a bonus. I sometimes believe that there actually isn’t a hell. Because honestly, I believe that murderers, and “perverts” all have problems stemming from genetics for from childhood problems. It ISN’T their fault. It really isn’t. I believe that God understands their problems and that’s why they are put on this earth, because in some way they directly affect other people. I think that Heaven spreads on forever and has enough room for everyone. I heard somewhere, and I believe it is true, that Hell was created by catholics to discipline and scare their followers into doing the right thing. I mean, if someone told you that you were going to heaven, no matter what…would you try to be a good person. Well, some people might, but some people might not…which would turn into mass chaos.
Yes, I believe in magick (yes, with a “k”), witchcraft, and all that. But, that is not to say that I believe in the/ a devil. I don’t believe in Heaven or Hell, but I do believe in two equal forces, one masculine and one feminine (in other words, I believe in a God and a Goddess). If you want to look more up on my beliefs and religion, find a book on Wicca.
Good and evil? Don’t believe in either. It’s all a matter of oppinion. What one person may find “good”, another can find “bad”. Get what I’m saying?
Yes, they are.
we have the same name, how awsome is thatt
i belive in god.but i dont belive that he created human beins.i think we come from monkeys.cuz if u really think bout it we look kinda like them in wayz….. do u believe in asrology?

What is good? What is evil? Who or what do you follow?
What is good = Love
What is evil = Hate
Who/what do I follow = My Heart
Yeah, a bunch of mushy, simple answers, but that’s me and that’s my opinion.
I met Cassie at camp a couple of years ago, her and her sister hung out with us a bunch cuz their cousin is in our youth group, our pastors son. lol this is kind of confusing lol, we don’t know each other to well but yes, its a small world

Hi i wen to your site but the pics took too long to download. Sounds like you have alot of people you have on your hands that look up to you. (I can tell by all the comments) God bless you with your ministry. -Shannon
I just took your bible quiz.I got 2 wrong, which was absoulutly rediculous because I know the Bible, and think its because I’m so~ tired.
“What is good? What is evil? Who or what do you follow?” —- I’ve never given these much thought before, and it’s kind of hard to think of that now. I was raised a Christian (nondenominational) but never liked going to church and have only read small parts of the Bible for when I did (like in youth group), and I’ve never been very religious anyway (some people even assume that I’m athiest).
“Hate the sin, Love the sinner” is what I tell some people who are so uptight about sins, and bash on those who commit them.
And what HoMeMaDe_SiN said about the person who posted above her… kinda harsh, yes? *_* I can understand how over-zealous religious people can get on other’s nerves, but from her posts it seems like she assumes almost every Christian is ignorant. If people feel happy with their religion, and they’re not hurting/harassing anyone, then why call them ignorant? XP And when she said she thinks God places suffering in our lives because our suffering displays our love for Him… I don’t exactly understand that. O_ o
(to the girl above me)Well how about you ask me? I never said I thought every christian was, in fact..if you actually read I said that I look up to real christians. I am simply referring to the judgmental, cruel ones. And actually, the ones I’m referring to DO harrass people and try to shove their religion or their knowledge in peoples faces. I can’t stand that. I can’t stand people who put Jesus on Material things. I don’t think you should PROVE that you love god by bumperstickers or t-shirts. I believe actions speak louder than words.
After reading these other comments, I sometimes wonder why I can’t be that Naive.
No, I don’t let adverse christians affect how I feel about God. I love him very much, and pray to him often. I try to follow his teachings (the ones I believe are worthy). I constantly feel guilty for my beliefs, just because the old ones were so dwelled into my head. I sometimes wish I didn’t think the way I do, I have a scientific mind…I can not help that.
I didn’t mean to offend anyone by calling that “punkrockforgod” (laughs…) or whatever ignorant. It just seems that they take everything their parents taught them and shove it in everyone’s face like they know what they are talking about. “God Is good”, “God is always right”. For once I’d like to hear some feedback.
Oh, hah…I love ghosts. I’ve been obsessed with Casper ever since I can remember…So…yeah, the ghost just kind of fit. I put it there when I was obsessed with Xanga. I’ve backed off a little bit.
what are your opinions on Abortion?
“What is good? What is evil? Who or what do you follow?”
Both depend on how you look at the situation. For instance, you give money to a beggar on the street. On the surface, that seems like a good thing, right? However, if you think about it, you might be spoiling the beggar; they come to rely on money given to them by people passing by. The lose incentive to try to get a job, therefore leaving them stuck as a beggar. On the other hand, if NOBODY gave anything to them, they might decide they NEED a job to survive, leading to them being more independant, which may lead to them being able to live in a house rather than on the street. Or they might starve and die.
What I’m trying to get at is that I don’t really think there’s such a thing as good or evil. There are thing that seem good to some people in some situations, and there are things that seem evil to other people in the same situations. It all depends on how you look at it. Therefore, I just do what *I* think is right, whether other people view it as “evil” or “good.”
“What is good? What is evil? Who or what do you follow?”
I think that good is doing what your heart tells you is right. Following what you believe and not letting someone else lead you in a direction you don’t think is right for you. Doing evil is following or doing something that you don’t believe in and you don’t think is right. You have to stay true to yourself.
i am wiccan. i do not believe in good and evil. i believe there are 2 forces. 2 balanced and equal forces. one is not greater than the other
