  • I’ve enjoyed reading all the posts.  I personnally hate living in a “bubble”.  I want to see the real world that people are living in.  I’m going to be writing an article on what kids/teens want adults to know.  I think it would be an interesting subject.

  • umm well answer to ure questions first one wats good :well i think money is good.also giving to charity and stuff is good.making friends meeting new people.exploring life getting to no everything wat goes on is good….umm second one wat is evil:….people who do not take things into consideration is evil.people who look at someone poor an laugh is evil..evil is the devils work….as its in his name.i dont believe in god but i do think the devil is real….evil is inside of everyone.even if ure are the most perfect person ever there is always sommit evil
third question u asked wat do i follow: well i dont have any religion…i dont believe in god.i dont follow any satan crap or witch stuff the only thing i follow is myself im my own best friend..my self is my religion

hmmm wat teens/kid want adults to know well thats easy

with me being a teen shit is hard and parents do not even take the time to listen to us we want them to know wat goes on in the real world..they need to no that we can be treated as adults they just need to believe that we can act as adults..wiv relationships wiv my family are shit they all look as me a no one they need to no i am someone ALL adults should take a step back from there whole life and insecurities and realise that us kids and teens are wat is gonna make the future happen..!!so with them not givin us a chance in stuff or life then the future is gonna look pretty crappy ..they need to know that its up to us to make these decisions in our life not them (parents etc) they just need to give us the courage and confidence an help us think hey we can do this……they need to no that if we make wrong choices in life we will realise it .an instead of standin there sayin i told u so they can help us learn from our mistakes.thats wat we do learn from mistakes so we can understand our life an future ahead of us much better

umm i think thats enough i dunno if that helps i could go on forever lol anyways have a good day

  • What sent me was a little bit of rational thought. I saw some comments on some blog somewhere, and I was disgusted by all the people making comments about their beliefs, and I could barely stand how foolish people were being. Good or Evil? You tell me.

  • I agree with what is written above, except for the fact that my parents ask me what is wrong before I even know. Then whenever I tell that I honest to God do NOT know what is wrong with me, they keep asking me to tell them and then they try and give me advice on something they know little or nothing about.

I would like them to know that they must also walk the path they preach. It’s idiotic and pointless to tell you NOT to do something when they DO it. I don’t drink, I don’t do drugs.. But if I ever wanted to, I am able of making my own mistakes and they shouldn’t lock me up forever because of my decisions.

Oh and then entire “Stop teens for having sex” thing. haha. They are not going in the right direction with that. If a kid wants to have sex, chances are… they ARE going to do it. Instead of telling them not to, when part of you already knows they will.. Make sure they are safe. Yes, as hard as that sounds, Give them condoms, take them to a doctor. Do what you can, don’t waste your time trying to do something that you can’t.

Hmm.. is there anything else I might like to add?…. *thinks*…………………………………………….yes.

Let us make our own decisions. Everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion, correct? That goes with sexuality and religion… and anything else that could end up being a huge part of someones life.

  • Oh yes, and the above was was written by xx_touch_me_im_sick_xx so please leave any futher comments on her site.

(sorry I was on my boyfriends name)

  • Good is simply doing what’s right, whether you are Chrisitan, Buddhist, Muslim, pagan. The decrees laid down by your faith are those you should follow. I follow God. As a Christian, I believe that we follow the New Testament.

Evil is deliberate and knowing “wrong”. However, it’s insidious, and can creep up in small and unnoticeable ways.

Sorry if I sounded defensive in my last comment. I misunderstood your questions as hostility, as opposed to open curiosity.

You have opened a can of worms here. It should make for very interesting responses.

  • well what i like parents/adults to know is that were kids and nothing less expect the best from us and the most but dont push us to hard becasue thats what frustrates us the most!!

  • I would like my parents to know is that teens are different now than they were when they were teens. Everyone drinks, smokes, cheats, lies, and steals. They don’t need to freak out everytime they hear of someone getting in trouble.

    That is all.

  • let me think what do i want my parents and just adults to know. i would like them to know that all kids arent bad some are but the rest of us are just trying to live in this world today dealing with more peer pressure then they ever have because peer pressure starts out at in like elementry school now 1st and 2nd graders are smoking i just wont them to give us kid more freedom. that is the best way to stop most kids from being bad is just6 to give them trust and they will behave.

    peace.

  • sure you can use my comment….actually you cant…. how did you even find my comment…

  • adults need to know that every teen is an individual and we should all be respected and treated like individuals..we are teenagers not little kids…we need freedom and we need to be allowed to be ourselves in everything that we do. We need to be trusted but we need to be protected at the same time.

  • i’d tell them that us kids should be able to express how we feel in our own ways. how we dress, talk, and act. and rules restrict us from being ourselves. we need to liveour own childhood being ourselves and not what they want us to be, perfect.

  • I’m sorry that I brought up that subject. But I’m a huge advocate for women’s rights, which in my opinion includes abortion. I think that a woman should have the right to choose between having a baby or not. I’m not saying it’s right, or that I would have one; but I believe it’s something that women liber’s have been working for, for a long time.  It astonishes me how many women (70%) vote the same as their husbands in elections, vote against abortion…etc. Susan B. Anthony, and other wonderful women who worked so hard for their rights…Women today are throwing them away. It’s kind of like a slap in their face. It’s pretty crazy how much you agree with my opinion on Christians today; most people think I don’t know what I’m talking about.  One other problem that I think Christians have, which I don’t really believe is a fault… Is that if they don’t think you are a christian, they will try to “change” you. If I have a friend that is not necessarily christian, I’ll probably ask why first, and if the reason is plausible, I’ll mention it a little, and then back away and let them think about it. If a person gives me a reason that doesn’t really make sense (since most of the teen population today is into “God is DEAD”-because that’s “cool”) I usually try to advocate it more. But Not  too much to scare them away. I’ve noticed that that is the usual reason for many people not being christians. They scare them away. They come up to them and try to throw bible verses in their face, trying to scare them into God. I just don’t think that’s the way to go. I think that God should be someone who represents Beauty, and Love. Not fear. I understand the few verses in the bible about fearing God, and we should to some extent. But not to the extent that preachers and followers are portraying today.

  •      look…The best way to put this is…parents /adults need to calm down and take it easy on the youth of America…I mean…I am drugfree, booze free, and smoke free and my mom is always on my case about something…I barely even talk to her now…I also tend to get mad at some christian adults and how they act towards me…I have parents already, i don’t need these christian adults in my community trying to parent me too.
Yes I am a goth kid, but what people need to realize is that “Goth” is not some fad or gimmick…it’s a culture, a scene, a movement…I know some christian goth’s and I respect them…I don’t dress the way i do to stand out, I dress the way i want because that’s how I feel I should look…that’s what I think looks good on me as an individual…I wish people would stop believing everything they see or hear on tv…I listen to the music I choose, I listen to music that speaks to me or that I see as poetic…I am confussed by the way a portion (not all christians, just a certain group) of christians act to others…the glares and evil stares…I choose to be myself and I think that I shouldn’t have to be judged for my beliefs…
I’m not a christian…I don’t go protest church do I?  Then why do they have to protest movies and concerts and try to protect me from free will, which I remember is a gift god gave us, in a certain way of thinking…
I would also like to remind you all of the sermon on the mount…It IS in the bible you know…It says something about people trying to clear a grain of sawdust from their neighbors eyes, when they have a plank sticking out of theirs…meaning that these people have no right to judge me and my friends based only on what they hear unless they are perfect6 themselves…That’s impossible because people of the christian faith believe that jesus is the only perfect person (god not being a person, I guess).  Thanks for your time…use anything you wish from my site…thank you for taking time out to hear my side.

  • Hello.
I would want Adults to no that teens like to do things on their own and dont like having their parents crowd their style..especially when they rnt in a good mood.
Also that adults need to worry about themselves and not other people worry about wats going on in thier lives not ours.

  • i believe good and evil are distinguished and defined by ones own intentions. i believe in everyone and everything.

  • i would want a book that explains to other people the understanding of why some peoples lives are centered around chaos and misery and forced to live in an abusive world that is not of thier choice. the everyday struggle understood to those who live otherwise pleasant lives. what makes the difference what causes the problem and help in finding solutions and to express to other half of the world exactly why.

  • if thare wer somthing id like adults to know it wuld be that thare kids love them evin if thay dont say it

and on your other ? im dipresed for menny resins but most of it is a brokin heart and no frends

u can use my comment if u want and wen u finish tell me ware i culd find it

  • hey i got ur thing about the teens and parents.. i would say .. and i have said this: i love parents.. but they try to hard to make us happy. its not friken rocket science.. just let us be when we need it. .and be there when we need it.. if we tell you.. ya.. rite now.. i just want to talk to my friends..”

    there u go..

  • i don’t know you who are but i shall make my input. as hey_iamgod_sus (my love) most eloquently stated, parents need to know that kids will NEVER in a million years tell them what’s actually going on. what they’re going through probably consists of drinking, smoking, stealing, sexing, lying, cheating, and other bad things. they’re upset cause all teens’ lives suck. ’nuff said.

  • Hmph. One thing I would tell adults. To stop being hypocrites or their own regulations. Here out both sides of a story before assuming fault. Also being able to understand why one did an action, not to create a whole different story from what actually happened, before knowing the truth.

Noth all adults are willing to hear why a teen does anything. Example is drugs, parents/adults assume it is for attention. It is some part. The real reason is because they have no other way of being relieved**  from stress, either that or adults at home or at school do not understand, that it is not for attention merely, for the fact that no one will ever understand them.

That is all i can think of for the moment.

    ^^V^^

  • were smarter than they think.

  • no problem, Randy. Paleontology is the study of fossils. Specifically, I want to get into Taphonomy, which is a branch of Paleontology, and is the study of fossilization. I used to live near the La Brea Tar Pits in Los Angeles (hey, did you know that “La Brea” means “the tar pits?” So when you say “the La Brea Tar Pits,” you’re actually saying “the the tar pits tar pits”), and I literally went every day after school (ever since I was three!), and ever since then, I’ve wanted to become a paleontologist.

  • Adults should not think that just because we are younger, we should be told what to think or how to dress. We are individuals and should be treated like it. They should not tell us what political party to belong to; I am socialist and proud of it. I am also a goth. I have no problem with who I am, and neither should they. We are all different, and they should learn this.

  • You see… There are so many diverse relationships betweens parents and their children that it’s difficult to generalize what needs to be said… Firstly, what one of the previous comments stated is false.  Adults are not hypocrits… they simply don’t want us to make the same mistakes as they did when they were kids.   At the same time, they need to understand that adolescents need the room to make their own mistakes so they can learn from them, as opposed to hearing, “Well, when I was a kid…”  Children were not meant to be chained to their parents’ sides… however, sometimes an adult’s own experience can cause them to be terrified for their child’s well being.  My mother was raped after i was born, so she is deathly afraid that the same will happen to me.  What parents do to and for their children is dependent upon what their own lives have been like.  It’s nothing against the actual teenager.  Basically, all that adults need to know is that they can trust their child.  They have to communicate without being burdensome.  Another above comment is wrong.  My mother knows everything there is to know about me, we talk constantly.  The problem adults and teens have is establishing the comfortable relationship in which they can share their feelings and beliefs without fear of being considered inferior.  But if the parent or teen wants that relationship badly enough, they’ll strive for the connection.

  • whoa, i didn’t expect to see one of my friends on here..^

The “God is DEAD” fad is quite common around the “Goth” (sterotypical Hot Topic, I love Satan(but not really), I listen to Slipknot kids) I don’t really prefer stereotyping people, but that’s what a lot of them like to go by..So…there it is. They think it’s all original to follow a band, I believe it was… someone around Marilyn Manson, Nine Inch Nails, etc who started that movement. I think what the bands meant to portray the fact that the real God is dead, and in fact has turned into what every judgmental, overzealous christian wants him to be. Which is actually a really good opinion, but the “goth” kids turned it into a big fashion scene. That’s basically all there is for that..

Correction, I’m not for abortion, I’m just for women’s rights =). I don’t mind at all if you subscribe to me.

Some girl just randomly commented on my site about how I was going against Jewish people, which isn’t truth at all. The only problem I have is that they thank God for not being women, which…is quite rediculous. And I didn’t just call out JEWISH people, I said something I didn’t care for about every religion.

A good quote I once heard was that Religion tears people apart but spirituality brings us together. Just thought I’d share.

  • Pretty helpful info, much thanks for the article. 8 7 site. This cannot truly work, I believe so. 5 8 5. I fully agree with anything you’ve printed here. 7 web check. It will not really have success, I feel this way.
