“
The lights are going out in Europe and I don’t think it’ll turn back on in our life time.”
Sir Edward Gray said that in the spring of 1914 prior to WW1. I can’t help but think of those words as I read Ezekiel 16:20-25. Why? Israel did not remember the days of their youth. If we do not remember history we are destined to repeat it. I’m not speaking on a national level; I’m speaking on an individual level. I like Paul I say these words: “That which I don’t want to do I do; That which I want to do I don’t. Who will deliver me?” -Jesus. I appreciated all the honest responses to the question: What is most important to you? As a Christian I know the correct answer – God. But upon carefully inventory I find other things on higher shelves in my life that needs to be lowered. I’ll do it because I choose to remember where I’ve come from and I won’t worship myself in the process.

Okie.. the most important thing in me to life is… honesty… I think that people that are honest are also compasssionate, loving, and caring and will provide the best house for their children… I think that children are just as important because there needs to be a future in our society that actually has compassion and honesty for the things they beleive in. ROCK ON! lol

Hello… I know you don’t know me but It’s nice to meet new people…. Anyways, what kind of christion are you?
the most important thing in my life is, making it through on top
EMERGENCY PRAYER REQUEST! Whitey had her colt and he’s having a bit of trouble………….The story is on my site, but I am seeking prayer’s for Lucky.
Thanx Steph
What is most important to me? Not just God, but doing the work of God… in my own way. You probably will not see much of that from the blog you found me on… but I have others… and it isn’t only though my writing that I intend to help the world with ( I am a writer)… my entire life is meant for service… the most important thing to me is to leave the world in better shape than I received it in… my ultimate goal is to be accepted into the Peace Corps… I long to take my days and dedicate them to educating, healing, listening, learning, and loving…
I am sorry if my last comment came off as harsh, I am just used to “bible thumpers” telling me that I need to find Christ or something silly like that… and they do this very prematurely… I do not deal well with anyones judgement of me, I feel that is reserved for God and God alone… so I offer apologies, and I thank you for stopping by.
Heaven is not a yes or no decision that happens after death, it is merely a way to describe a state of accepting God’s grace. We never truly die, only our little idolized earthly bodies pass into something else. So, when I am alive in this lifetime or the next I will be in whatever state of peacefulness and control of my life I will accept. When christ is reborn into my world heaven and earth truly will pass away, for their will no longer be a distinction, and no longer will I create that separation.
I feel no need to contemplate what lies beyond this life, by the way, as it will only reflect what fills my days now. As it is, I feel that I already know a small taste of heaven. Not in the worldly sense that many others have tried to describe it to me (no one fighting, every need provided) but in the deeper sense of peace that helps me realize and remember that there is no need to stop the fist from flying if its impact doesn’t disturb my own peace, and that there is no need of food in my stomach if I but accept the nourishment that the Lord gives me.
I am happy. Still more of those close to me could die, harm themselves and those around them, attack me, shut each other out, and more… and more and more… all tomorrow… and I would still thank God for the beautiful sunset and the field of blood.
To approach that way of living. That is the only heaven that I need concern myself with.
-Jacob Alexander

As this is a secret journal known only to three people besides myself, I will assume that you turned it up on a random search. Thanks for a blessing on a night when I could really enjoy putting some thoughts in logical order.
God bless you. I love you. Stay sane.
Thank you so much.
