Camp was great. (Trying to recover before I’m off to camp again next week.) Next week will be in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Many kids were touched this past week. We did have a tornado watch one night and had to take shelter.
I’ve been thinking about open doors. I try to convince young people to not open certain doors in their lives. Those doors may not be able to be shut, even with God’s help. You may say, what, God is not strong enough to shut our doors? God is strong enough to protect our will. If we open an impurity door, we may become addicted to the wrong. It would draw us in and then we’ll live in the secret place of sin. That place is darkness. Then when God calls, as he called to Adam, we’ll not answer because we’ll choose sin over God. When we don’t answer there is no hope for us. I was so blessed yesterday as two of our young people got married. At the reception Natalie, the bride, thanked those around her that helped them stay pure. What a victory!

Hi! I am glad to hear that camp went well! That Tornado watch was a scary event! I kept thinking about the kids and was wondering how they were handling it all. Poor kids, I bet they wanted their parents! I was hoping to see you guys. Derek said that he went over there to say “hi”. Well, your entry for today is SO true! I have been there!
