I was struck by the words, “you wouldn’t do that to the king but you’ll do it to me.” You could put other titles in place of king such as, boss, neighbor or friend. Who said it? The answer: God in the book of Malachi. Do we treat people better than we treat God? Do we treat ourselves better than God? The book of Malachi deals with money. ”What’s in your wallet?” Answering that question will answer the question of who’s treated better.

You’re entry today is spot on. We dont treat Him as well as we treat ourselves or others that we love. He has proven time and time again that He’s good and we are worthy of His love yet most can’t take the time out during the day to give thanks.
Ewww….very good thought. Very very good.
Wow… that made me think.
Hmmm….yup. (Answer to your question) Most often than not, people today have such busy schedules that God is often not only treated badly but neglected and abandoned… think of how we would feel if He did that to us…
i too enjoy that bit of irony in the Italian prophet Malachi. it’s interesting what same questions we can ask today. we offer freedom to other countries by bombing the crap out of them, and we do it in the name of Christianity. sounds like something God would approve of right??????!!
It’s interesting how people can turn scripture to match their own views. hotshot209 gives us an example of that.
