Month: October 2006

  • Heir Force

We had a great Heir Force last night.  We played baseball on the chalk board.  When someone got an answer correct that person got a hit.  We talked on King Asa and how he did right before God.  The other class, Whiz Kids, was a different story.  Their teacher told me they were so wired that she didn't get anything accomplished.  (Is anyone experiencing any October weirdness?  We've had more people become extreme than normal.)

  • Disappointment to Great Joy

They brought everything they needed.  They talked about how to visit the body.  Yet, when they got there all their plans were for nothing.  The women found the body gone.   What they didn't know would be revealed to them in a short period of time.

  •    Joseph & Nicodemus took part in burying Jesus.  I find that amazing.  They secretly followed Jesus.  Jesus's own disciples weren't there. There may be many that are secretly looking for the Kingdom of God.   When the right opportunity arises they will arise into service.

  • Charlie Battery

charlie There was a parade for Charlie Battery yesterday. (Charlie Battery returned from Iraq yesterday.)  It was great.  The entry that touched me the most was a family.  The soldier was sitting next to his wife.  His 4 girls were sititng around them saying, "Daddies home."  It brought tears to my eyes.
