  • Niagra

The topic at HonorBound this morning was walking in the Spirit.  Mike read from a Smith Wiggelsworth devotion.  I like Smith because he was a common man, a plummer.  I'll never forget  when I was at Niagara Falls.  I was reading a book on the life of Smith Wiggelsworth.   He stood at the Falls and spoke the words: "God is pouring out His Spirit like that of the Niagara Falls."

  • Interesting Friday fact: The earth travels through space at 660,000 miles per hour.

  • I had the strangest thing happen to me last week.  I was driving home and heard a thud on my back tire.  I looked out the mirror and saw a squirrel run from my van towards a telephone poll.  (I must of hit the squirrel.)  As I was watching the squirrel tried to get up the pole but couldn't.  The squirrel then ran back into the road laid down and died.  I expected Rod Sterling to step out into the street and say, "What you have witnessed will now take you into the ...............................TWILIGHT ZONE"

  •     I've entered into 1 Thessalonians.  The first word that hit me was grace.  I'm so grateful for grace.  I deserve punishment but instead His love is pored out on me.

  •     I finished studying the Gospel of Mark.  I love the ending.  After Jesus spoke to them He ascended and continued to do His work through His disciples.  Jesus is in headquarters as we do our mission here.  He supplies all our needs to accomplish His goals.

  • North Korea Nucellar testing - scarry.

  • Changing Sky

Our nice weather is ready to change.

  • The discussion group of Children's Pastors (CMPros) that I'm in, presented a question.  What do you do when a boy comes into your youth group wearing female clothes, ie.. a dress & makeup?   (That actually happened in a youth group.)

  • I watched "To catch a preditor" - a Date Line special last night.  Although I was appalled at the men that sought out young girls on the internet; I was also reminded not over react.  Our society is sick.  The men that were caught had respectable jobs.  There were married men.  There were single men.  One man was a Doctor.  I would say before we pick up stones to throw we had better allow the light to expose everything in our lives.  "Do we know of darkness going on and choose to be quiet about it?"  The Republicans are coming under fire for that and rightly so.
