  • I loved all the memories that everyone posted.  I love to reflect.  I have a Psalms 39 personality.  It's one that is silent while the words burn inside, wanting out, then the words burst out in a lot of emotion.  Others, have a outspoken personality.  They speak whatever is on their mind.

    What's your personality?

  • My personality...hmmm...when writing I am very outgoing.  As myself without the writing...I have been told I am analitical and a type A personality.  I do not like large crowds, but know how to handle it when I am in those situations.  I shop online because I dislike going to department stores and dealing with people.  Yet I am very upbeat most of the time and happy and I have also been told I am a rule follower.

  • I have both, depend on the situation or environment. Alot of pple tells me I like to be a

leader then a follower. I don't like to be told what to do unless it my parent. Even at job place if boss isn't nice I don't like it either.

  • Among people that I know I tend to be more social.  Stick me in a room with a bunch of new people, I'll tend to observe the crowd, scanning for someone I know, and then move in that general direction.

Or, as my wife would say, shy and quiet.

  • i would say i'm generally quiet, but not so shy....i can talk to just about anyone.  and i love making people laugh. :)

  • RYC -- The book is basically (from what I understand) about the shift that the church is going to make to more of a home church type feel.  I've heard good things about it, and as I stated, even started reading it sometime last year.  It's been recommended to me to read by several people.   When that many people with different personalities recommend it, I figure it's worth checking out.

On a different subject, is Xanga always so tempermental?  I was scrolling down, read your comment, click on your name to respond, and all of a sudden, your comment is gone.   I've heard of Xanga gulping down items from peoples sites.   Is this normal?

  • I am an organized, thoughtful, straightforward, no-nonsence person.  Right is right and left is wrong.  I am a teacher, without a degree and during each week there are those will call upon me for my compassionate logic about their own sticky situations.  That "logic" is based in Christian belief.  I always go the extra mile for people.  I am intuitive and see through facades very quickly.  Despite that intuition, I love helping people, even those who through me a curve ball.  My kindness is often taken for weakness, however, that is my strength.  I recoil from vulgarity in any form and I endeavor to do my best each day.  I love the Trinity.  I am a child of God and a heir to Heaven.

  • RYC: Hi from Rapid City. That flaming text and a bunch of other styles are gif photos that you can create for yourself at http://www.flamingtext.com/start.html. Stay warm this weekend. -Keith from rcfirstpraise.

  • Shy with people I don't know, more outgoing with those I do. Sometimes I'm too quick to anger. I especially like reflecting when I'm listening to my music.

  • Ooohhh...that describes me also! But I also want to add....GOOFY! I love to laugh and make people laugh.

    Have a great day!

  • I am happy you liked the recipe.    You should tell me what other kinds of things you like to make and eat.

  • Hey,

to keep it all in and then have it burst out with emotion, do you really think that i good. I know that I cant have an emotional response, because I would be ruining my friendships with people. A life lead by emotions is very dangerous, because emotions come and go so quickly, there are so many ups and downs, we cant be poeple lead by emotion.

You kno? What do you think about that?

Anyway, my name is Melissa and I was randomly browsing through sites and I came to yours. I am an administer for a website called http://www.battlecry.com, which is a Christian site similar to Xanga and MySpace. It is a really great site and I was just wondering if you wanted to check it out, this is a link to my site, check it out and comment on my xanga to tell me what you think!

  • ryc: i really like the feel of the entire album. since i was listening to while driving, i don't know the names of the songs but the numbers--3, 5, 7, 10, and 12. especially 12. i hit repeat a few times on it. also, when you buy the album (in a store), there is a free coupon for an acoustic version of "american dream" that you download from their site. that was sweet. i RARELY like an entire album, so this is a rarity. if you like this style, it's definitely worth buying. blessings.

  • I am still not sure as what is my personality...hope I will know someday.  By the way, today was our 14th wedding anniversay, forgot to tell about it though....

  • I like the writting and not the spoken . I need to read to well understand .

  • Your personality sounds just like mine when...

    1) I was younger, especially during my experimental years

    2) I had a temporary stint of post partum after my first child was born

    3) I'm ill

    4) I don't get enough sleep or proper nutrients

    5) Trying to do too many things involving deadlines

Communicating true feelings, slowing down, reducing activities (or keeping things simple), and taking better care of my health has helped tremendously.

  • That's a good question. I also have words that burn inside me and I best express that through my writing. Even though I speak publically sometimes, I've got it down on paper. I like to give good information that I have studied and walked out because I believe with all my heart that knowledge is power especially from the Word of God. So when I do speak even though it may sound like a purr...it is a roaring lion!!!! So I am like a lion in kitty disguise...hahahahaha!
